Hey thanks Bruce! When I’m not drawing and creating it really eats at me. It’s kinda like haveing a really awesome sports car that you never drive. I spent all those years learning to draw only to let my hands sit idle, makes me feel like I’m wasting something I worked so hard to get. Thanks so much for your years of support man! Hey Trav! Good to see you back. The First Law Trilogy is great, hope you enjoy that last book. If you want a fun book (darker) to read I highly recommend Worm! It would fit your style for sure. I definitely think picture fantasy books need to be a thing. I'd love to see more artwork while reading just to see what the author was imagining. I completely get the art struggle, keep up the good work and going forward!

Thanks! I'm loving the first Law trilogy, its exactly what I needed, to get me inspired. I drew Ferro and another full version of a flathead today and cant wait to drawing the other characters, especially Ninefingers and the other Northman.

@@SketchyTrav i liked your version of the flat heads. Definitely gave that feeling of monstrous but human still and it would be terrifying to go against a bunch of them. Are you going to draw each character at some point? That would be super cool to do and see. Logan's freaking awesome haha. Curious to see glokta as well.

Glad to see your rebuilding your art habit, I've been neglecting my sketchbook routine for a while now, THE STRUGGLE IS REAL! I replaced it with a journal/ notebook where I jot down ideas and Da Vinci like scribblings on all matters of life. On the flip side I've improved my handwriting and now I plan on combining my written notes with some sketchy illustrations into my first ever art book, I hope you turn your art into something bigger like a more focused project that your are excited to work on. I look forward to what ever comes next.

Thanks! My daughters sketchbook is like yours, which I love. She sketches little notes and really packs the illustrations on the page, it looks awesome! I really hope I can put something together that I can feel proud of at some point… but it’s really hard for me to like anything I do. 🤷

I get so inspired every time watching your drawings. I ordered 2 toned sketchbooks to try implementing a similar habit of sketching. Feel like a pencil on toned paper feels a lot more dimensional. Looking forward to your next vid, it's always worth the wait.

Awesome video! I like the fantasy direction, very fun. Sometimes, I feel like it's good to take breaks from drawing or creating in general. I always come back feeling refreshed and very creative. It's like my brain just needs a breather, haha. Anyway, thanks for sharing! I look forward to seeing more sketches!

If you ever stumble upon anatomy issue or struggles in which direction to place a limb , you can always pose an Action figure and that will help you out with the depths of the drawing poses., love your work @sketchy Tarv
