I'm thankful for your videos. I've learned so much from you over the last 5 years. I'm 35 I have three daughters Faith, Grace, and Hope. They are the greatest blessing of my life and true not everyone wants to sacrifice for their children but great parents do. They love and nurture them and treat them with respect as the future adults their children will one day be. It's an honor to help develop and shape a living human being that God entrusted you with. Love your videos God bless you and your family! ❤🙏 Praying for you guys!

Oh yes actually many people contribute in much bigger ways to this world than being a parent. Doctors, social workers, surgeons and nurses who help women like you for instance who can't deliver naturally 🤷‍♀️ and in this case they are not only "contributing" but actually essential to you, your safety and your life. They are more than responsible to other people's needs. Selfish is certainly not an appropriate term. Speak wisely Tatiana! 💁‍♀️ Transformation can happen through many things and at different stages of life not only through motherhood, thanks God.

I watched your videos showing life in Panama and it's stuck with me how happy Lucas is, so it makes so much sense now hearing about your pregnancy and how you were during this time.

Do you wish you waited longer to have kids, had kids sooner, or was it the right time for you? Around what age range would you recommend women have children? 20-25, 25-30,30-35, 35+?
@TatianaJames
@TatianaJames 3 ай бұрын
I was ready at 26 years old, I knew I wanted them young and because I became financially free at a young age, I wasn't as focussed on my career and financial security anymore. I think there are two important things that need to be done before having kids and becoming financially free isn't one of them, although that will obviously make everything easier. First is finding your life partner, your commitment to this person should be sincere because the last thing you want for your future child is to be in a broken family. Second, invest the time to work on yourself. We all have our issues and they remain our issues until we have kids... then they become issues for our children and that's not fair. So don't pass down your problems. The female brain doesn't fully mature until 25 and the male until age 28 so I would wait until at least 25 to have kids and that gives you more than enough time to mature, work on yourself, enjoy your youth etc.

Do you ever miss your old life before having a child?
@TatianaJames
@TatianaJames 3 ай бұрын
I did at first, but now I recognize how much more fulfilling my day to day is. I smile way more, laugh way more, I'm sillier, I'm way more present.. all of that thanks to my little man. Not to mention how precious it is watching your family together. I'd say there's just way more depth to my life now and I think Stefan would agree, he says he's much happier. Yes the hustle of being a parent is real, but it also forces you to step up and step into a mature, responsible, empathic human and that makes you feel good about you.

I enjoyed your video! Congratulations on being a mom! I am in my 50s now. I have 3 beautiful teenagers and a husband but I am nowhere near being financially free. I have needed to work full time since age 20 as a nurse. I have definitely missed important times with my kids working 5 days a week. I tried to do my best but clearly would have liked to spend more time with them especially when they were little.

Thanks for sharing! Question, is vaccination the same in Panama as it is in the U.S.? I think you once had mentioned a resource that discussed vaccines, this was way back in your pregnancy I believe. I’m asking because I saw A Shot in the Dark series by Candace Owens and my view point has totally shifted. For reference I’m a nurse and trained in labor and delivery, now I work in psychiatry and we were never taught anything about vaccines besides adhering to the schedule which now doesn’t seem like the best advice.

@@TatianaJames I know recently you haven't focused on your social media much, but you're a huge inspiration to me. And I wonder if you can talk about doing basic things in Panama as I keep hearing from other channels that it's hard to buy Makeup and Supplements online. And even mail can be hard to deliver. Could you talk about navigating these micro things? I do love it on the macro level

Tatiana, I appreciate you and your content, but you lost me with the dichotomy you made on either wanting to have kids or being selfish. I find this categorisation overly simplistic. There is people who can’t have kids. And there is people who don’t want kids, but find alternative ways to not live a selfish life. Please be more inclusive.
@TatianaJames
@TatianaJames 3 ай бұрын
Ok I understand, maybe i wasn't clear. I'm not saying that NOT having kids is selfish. I actually don't think everyone should have kids and respect people's understanding of themselves when they say they don't want them. And of course not everyone can have them. What I meant was that before having kids we GET to be selfish, and not as a bad thing... we just get to put ourselves first because we aren't responsible to meet someone else's needs above our own. That doesn't mean that you don't contribute to others or serve your community etc. it means that you are in control of your day and your life.
