In case anyone is interested...The green platter from Portugal is part of a larger set. I have had the set and enjoyed displaying the Bunny Teapot and cups and saucers for decades. There are many matching dishes. Look alike set also exist and are way less expensive. Also...the Brass ornate Letter Holder is part of a desk set. I bought mine over 2 decades ago. The set includes a holder for a Roll of Stamps...an Ink Well and more. Very pretty sitting under a lovely lamp, next to my very Vintage Underwood Typewriter, on a small Library Table in the closet of my 2nd Story office. I removed the door to the closet...alcove...for just the perfect cubby hole look in my Vintage office of my 86 year old Moonbow Mountain home.

That beautiful pillow looked two sided... I'd be tempted to make two pillow cases out of that one, using a plain fabric for the back. 🌿 Sometimes life, health and necessity half make our choices for us. Moving house takes a huge effort, not to mention all the emotions involved. There is always an amount of pain in leaving one's old home, even if one is looking forward to creating a new home. I'm sure wherever you end up, you'll make a beautiful home - and perhaps you'll take us with you... 💚

Like you, I collect clocks. It doesn’t matter if they work or not. Some of mine are plain and some more ornate. I love to dig through thrift store shelves looking for I want. They’re usually covered in dust but that’s ok, I know how to clean them up and display them in vignettes. Love your decorating videos.

Glad things are going well. That blue and white wood thing I would use for my tea also. I think pipes would have been stored the the cubby with opening so they wouldn’t carry a burnt smell. Can’t imagine tobacco would be placed in the pretty blue and white drawers. Just a guess.

I was buying the green bunny Bordello Pinheiro dishware in TJMaxx stores about 15 to 20 years ago. I guess they are almost vintage ( not sure what age qualifies as vintage). Regardless, I loved them then and still do. I believe they were selling pink, blue and maybe yellow versions but the green were so much prettier and the pattern much more defined. They are on display year round in my grandmothers hutch with some blue and white plates. I have the cream and sugar, some cups and saucers, the saucers have the leaf edge, the same little platter you have plus dessert plates with the leaf edge. I have some larger salad plates with a round edge along with a couple bowls. Oh, and a teapot! I had a few more leaf edged plates but, well, I fostered some kittens…. I have the pieces though and will be using them to make a mosaic garden piece with them. I love all the pieces but the cups with the little leaf edged saucers are my favorite; they are just darling.

Oh Bev, this was so needed amongst all the rain we have been having. You returned and brought much needed sunshine. I have been trying to find out where you had gone as I was worried about you. What an adventure you are going to be having, Was the book a clue? maybe a red herring Lol. You will make where-ever you land a more beautiful place, but it would break my heart to leave that pretty cottage behind, especially the stairway that you put so much into. Do you wash your ruggable in your home washer or go to a laundromat? I keep seeing those but how would they fit in a washer. Another thing, I’ve had rugs with that rubber backing and after regular washing they dry, crack and peel off even though I never put in dryer. Love your current haul! I believe, based on my limited knowledge (I learn as I go) that your cabinet is a Dutch Spice cabinet with Danube drawers. I saw one similar, with large and small drawers. However, it was without the center section. My curiosity lies with the center section, the rack with holes and pierced porcelain door. Stunning piece.
