Just picked up an 02 SS with 12,024 miles. I’ve had it for 2 weeks it now has 12,667 miles. I drive it to work twice a week rain or shine. I had an 01 SS in 06 and barely drove it. Regretted it. So idc, I’m driving the shit outta this thing lol

My 02 SS had a Trans am ram air engine already in it when I got it. So I did the logical thing and I swapped the entire front end from a Trans am with the pop up head lights and everything on my SS. So it's a beautiful collaboration of the 02 Camaro SS & the 02 Trans am. Yours is a thing of beauty. Makes me want to black out mine. Super clean build.

I have 58k miles on my pewter 01 SS and it’s now a 348 fully forged ls1, prc 2.5 ls6 heads, custom nitrous cam, fast 92, nw 92 tb, and nitrous outlet 300 shot. Performabuilt stage 3 4l60e trans with yank ss 4000 stall and quick performance 9 inch 3.70 gears. Speed engineering long tubes and full true dual exhaust. Full umi suspension. I don’t feel bad about it at all I keep the car looking beautiful and it’s one of the cleanest foodies from where I live and get looks all the time. It’s not the fastest out there but at 21 years old I couldn’t be happier I’ve owned it for 2 years and bought it bone stock from the original 62 year old owner. Your ta is absolutely gorgeous man, don’t feel bad about modifying them you’re only making them better lol

I had a red 1995 TA that I sold in 2009 and miss the hell out of. But now I have a 2010 Camaro SS that is cammed with full bolt ons, and she's my new baby. GM simply killed it with the 4th gen Firebird/Trans Am, design wise. 27 years after the first model (1993) and they can still pass for a modern car, especially the refresh models. I still think about mine every day, but my Camaro helps make it easier. I understand what you are saying though man - You own these cars and they just become a part of you...and there isn't a damn thing wrong with that.

Nice WS6!! I have a low mileage 95 Camaro Z28 LT-1 with stainless eBay long tube headers, 3 inch y-pipe , 3 inch Magnaflow, GMPP cold air intake, Richmond 3.73 gears, 96 SS rear spoiler, LS1 drive shaft, UMI suspension stuff, MSD wires, 18 inch chrome Z06 wheels, BFG rubber and the list goes on and on. Don't know if you ever come to Michigan for our many many car shows we have here during the summer. Fun times!

This T/A is in excellent condition my first T/A was a black 99 ws6 but it was nearly as clean as your 02 my last one was a 2000 WS6 was clean like like your 02 it was pewter with CETA mod borla exhaust slp lid I'm hoping to find a 01-02 with auto trans in sunset orange red black silver or navy blue they are getting pretty pricey tho but I need another one BADDDDDD

My first (and only) muscle car was White (off white/eggshell) 89 GTA Trans Am T-Roof .. loved that car, as you I miss it all the time.. it was mint when I bought it $12,000 Today, I'd love to buy that car back or a newer years model Trans Am like yours. UGGGHHHH I cant wait to get my trans am(95' fully 02' converted) running again!! I traded a 2013 cruze for it from this guy on facebook and not even a week in motor spun a rod(dude drove it into the ground). It's my very first sports car/V8 and I fucking love it. I just got a freshly rebuilt 5.7 block with magnaflow muffs for a sweet deal and I already have kooks 2 inch headers and a typhoon intake and rails. I've never even taken off anything in an engine bay before this car and Im just throwing myself in there because im just so determined to make it the ultimate daily/street car. It's definitely gonna be quite the money pit(Already is kinda haha), but man these things are truly badass gems and it's definitely a car I see myself having for a pretty long time, which I NEVER anticipated cause im a jdm guy by heart. Great video and beautiful car!!

Really a hellcat. Everybody has one of them. For the price of one of them you could get so many other rare firebirds. A nice 2nd or 3rd gen or even a first gen and save thousands over what the cat will cost you. I can relate to wanting a bigger car to daily drive. I drive a 05 Mercury Montego daily. Love it. And when I want to be sporty I take out my 2000 firehawk trans am with optional ole bumpy rear spoiler. And like you we have winter here in Michigan. So I have a fx4 f150 for that... I'm.not knocking a hellcat but my experiences with Chrysler products have been electrical issues rampant on different models different generations. I just stay away from them now.

I already have a couple nice third gens.. the 1st and 2nd gen don’t really do anything for me. I have a 2014 ram sport I daily now but it’s pretty big for the city driving I’ve been doing lately. I’ll still keep my ram for when I need it but was planning on leasing the Hellcat. Enjoy it for a couple years and then turn it back in after I beat the crap out of it haha

You have a clean 2002 WS6. I love that it’s a 6sp car and yours sounds great! I picked up my 2002 slick beak with 19,990 on it 3 years ago and it was completely untouched. A black on black 6sp is the I my way to go. Added some wheels, lowering springs, lid, exhaust and i couldn’t be happier. Good luck with the Hellcat, but I hope you consider a ZL1 as well. You have a gorgeous Trans Am.

In 02, I went into a Pontiac dealership to buy a WS6, black with T-tops. They had one in the show room, but they wanted 35 large. So, needless to say, I went to ford and bought a GT stang for 24 grand.. well the GT was slow and i got spanked a lot by LS1's. Moral of the story, I ended up putting 15 grand into the GT, got it to 470hp and had fun beating up on LS1's on the street, but I still dream about a WS6..

That's a fantastic ride man, i adore those 4th gen face lifted trans ams and WS6's and Firehawks are absolute highest. I do think you should get some fresh or updated motor mounts, i know the engine got updates but if i look at the exhausts and the shifting knob, i can't help but notice it's wobbling just too much, i think some decent motor mount upgrades would do wonders though, just sayin'. I used to have a 71 Formula 400 with a GTO engine in it, flowmasters and a light cam, but it got stolen a couple of years ago and i've lost so much money to it i'm afraid to ever dive back into it. I only drive boring commuter cars now, but vids like these make me miss those fantastic cars. If i'd ever get back into it, despite my heart belonging to first model 2nd gen firebirds, the 98+ Trans Am WS6 in black gets the blood pumping and itching to get my hands on one. I genuinly believe these cars in between 10 to 15 years are gonna skyrocket in value though.
