Great amp. I've been a fan of Princetons and Deluxe Reverbs forever, did many gigs with these amps. Great pedal platforms. I'm not a big fan of high gain channel switching amps anyhow, so getting the tubes cooking just enough and boosting it with a great pedal gets the job done for me.

Nothing like a 65 Blackface Princeton Reverb Amp = those "Pristine Fender Cleans" are heavenly. I have the 2017 ReIssue and it's just phenomenal.

Nice job Tony. In the end, it’s the satisfaction of the builder that brings the smiles. Unmistakable Fender-clean sound.

Good to see and hear that you got there in the end. Nothing beats making your own gear and knowing which parts to upgrade once you are ready. Better tubes and speaker have to be the first ones to try. Good luck on your quest Tony.

vibrato is an oscillation in pitch. Tremolo is an oscillation in volume. The circuit in this amp is a tremolo.

Tony, really sounds great. Nice job. Just wondering what pedal you used on this video for the overdrive.

It’s a pedal I also built from a kit. Ghost drive from StewMac

That’s not a hand wired from fender. I have one and your doesn’t say 64’ handwired on the face under the word Reverb and your on off switch is completely different in the back and your grill cloths color is too bright. Maybe it’s an older one and didn’t have the things I mentioned years ago.
@rayburn200719 күн бұрын
He built this amp himself no it’s not hand wired from fender but it is completely hand wired.
