Figuring out what you want to make by copying and modifying to fit content gaps is great. copying other videos helps you analyze editing techniques, formatting etc. it's like how when you learn to pain/draw you copy other people first to learn. when you figure out how other people do things, it clarifies skills and ideas and therefore evolves the content you're putting out into something unique. coming up with the idea and editing you think is "best" isn't always the easiest or the most efficient way to do things. copying and modifying is the best way to learn and develop. if you paid attention to his method and mindset, you can see that the ideas were always modified so yeh... I would say @bizzyBSY is inspiring.
