your transformation into stock footage man and back to studio wildlife guy was incredible. 10/10

I also use a spare bedroom for my studio where I have 4 distinct areas to paint in; tilting art desk, floor easel, table top easel & a wall mounted board for pastel painting.

One day I’ll have a studio. My workspace is in my bedroom. Single mom of 4, so all rooms in my home are fully used. Love what you’ve done with your studio!! Happy Painting 😊💚💙

I was listening to some of your idea as an artist so for the flat screen monitor you need a flat screen TV wall mount. #studiowildlife.

Welcome to the new studio space! I realize you still have more organizing to do with your stuff and gear setup, so maybe this will resolve itself, but... right now, to my ears at least, the acoustics of the room sound a bit bright. Like too many hard surfaces and not enough soft furnishings? Just something to consider. It looks like you've got some great ideas for your new space. Congratulations on the move!

Thank you! And yeah I think it’s because one of the walls is fitted mirrored wardrobe 😫 which can’t be doing good things to the sound🤣 I’m gonna get some form of acoustic panels but not sure they’ll do that much because of the mirrors! If anyone else is reading this comment and has advice about improving the sound please do reply and let me know!

@@StudioWildlife I'm no expert, but a few ideas: More clutter in the room. Hang quilts on the walls. If you don't mind the cave-like atmosphere, heavy drapes over the window and over the mirrors. Also having the wardrobe doors open might help. Will look forward to Studio Setup video Part 2. 😊

How do you feel about having carpet in the studio?
@StudioWildlife8 ай бұрын
I’d rather have a wooden floor but as long as I’m careful I don’t make that much mess, the area directly underneath where I work has a cheap rug the protect the floor, and all my dust large charcoal work I’m going to set up a space in my garage to do that

Hi again sorry i think you misunderstood me, i didn't want to know just about the types of varnish. I would love it if you would show us maybe at the end of a clip, say 30 minutes of you varnishing your paintings and explaining the process, i find a lot of artists say they have varnished but never show us learners. I absolutely love your art i really do you are both so talented. Im painting a stag at the moment inspired by you.

Hi i asked you a month ago about showing us how you varnish your paintings, i realise you've been busy but you could at least answer, i think my question is a good one.
@StudioWildlife9 ай бұрын
The varnish information and the products I use were at the end of the video you commented on. As it’s acrylics, once it’s dry ( an hour or so after finishing the painting if it’s dry) I just spray those varnishes on as per the instructions on the cans. With acrylics varnishing is a relatively simple process, especially with the spray varnish

I was wondering where Dad is, too. He seemed really handy for the last studio. (eg, I'd hire him in a heartbeat, if I didn't live thousands of miles away. 😂)
