Thank you for uploading this. Great track, particularly 3:30 - 4:30 which is a variation of a theme that plays in key moments in the last season/the movie - spoiler - eg. Sigtryggr saying goodbye to Stiorra, Haesten's death, Aldhelm's death, Uhtred's banishment

Interesting, I don’t hear a similarity in the theme. Are you hearing specific notes repeated, or are you just talking about Eivør’s voice?

@@DylanSkie Eivør’s amazing vocals differ each time but the notes John has composed repeat. I think John uses the theme in scenes with death/honour in death. It’s also on the track Hymn 49 from around 3 minutes 20 onwards. Would have loved a soundtrack release for each season as there’s so much unreleased work, but thank you for everything you have uploaded Dylan

I came to hate Brida with season 4 and 5, but seeing this episode I was happy that Uhtred granted her redemption... might have shed a tear for her

Yeah, I felt sick from what Brida did to Young Uhtred, but this scene really really showed how much Uhtred cares for Brida and also why he cares so much for her.

Brida was the saddest one . She loved Uhtred for her entire life , but Uhtred always leave her for his own ambition , quest for titles and other woman . The neglect and jealousy of this woman finally turn her in a vengeful enemy of Uhtred. They could have been loving husband and wife .

Bruh wth. She chooses not to stay with Uhtred. Ragnar also could understand Uhtred's choices. Brida was always very impulsive and hateful, when Ragnar died, she also died and then was just filled with more hate. Uhtred literally gave her many chances.

She didn't love Uhtred she loved her home which was taken from her by burning. That was her core conflict and reason why she was so in pain and did everything afterwards.
