I think Blue gets a bad wrap. If you watch the delusional series or listen to clips out of context, you'd think he was an idiot. But if you actually watch his videos he's not really an unlikeable guy. He's passionate and knowledgeable about the sport, and has done a lot to help promote it.
@arryharry
@arryharry 21 күн бұрын
He has, but his antipodean nature leads him to say the craziest and borderline arrogant things about who he can currently beat, and who he feels he can beat in the next X period of time. It's counter to his actual knowledge and understanding of the sport, as he is nowhere near the levels he talks about. The coach Ray defeat should have been humbling, but he doubled down and those videos have produced some humdingers...

I think Ryan gave Armwrestlingbible a chance to stop what he was doing before he told his name to the public (name, which was already publicly available) - it was Armwrestlingbible's choice to refuse Ryan's offer. It was AWB's choice to have his name released, and AWB chose not to correct the negative behaviour pattern that he was on. He had every chance to walk away from the situation with clean hands, but he chose not to.

Finally someone is talking about how devon got opened up round 1 vs levan and that contributed to his arm fatigue. After that round he had no backpressure
@astwas
@astwas 23 күн бұрын
Why did that never happen vs other opponents, Devon always got opened up. Fact is Levan goofed up 1st round in terms of hand position, Devon was taking setup advantage every round and early starting which Levan didn't care about, and he was so nervous about his wrist Devon got too much and Levan couldn't even get a proper grip which we can see he kept opening up his fingers. Otherwise Levan felt nothing and subsequent rounds showed that Devon was way too weak
@jameswebb3410
@jameswebb3410 23 күн бұрын
@@astwasHe almost always gets somewhat stretched out but in this match it kinda different. It happened insanely quickly and he had to give more than 100% to hold that position. How much it affected him, if at all, during the next rounds is another discussion and only Devon knows the answer.
@astwas
@astwas 23 күн бұрын
@@jameswebb3410 It didn't happen "insanely quickly", he held center for a very long time too. Devon had been instant stretched much faster while obv resisting 100%, like even against Brzenk, Prudnik, and Georgi he had to go desperate a couple times. Devon HIMSELF admitted he had 0 chance after the match interview, all his fans keep drinking the delulu koolaid lol. It is very obvious and Levan even described it, Levan couldn't get connection he wanted from his hand/wrist because he lost position hesitating due to his injury, and so he couldn't do his toproll or he would lose his wrist otherwise it would never have even stayed center in the first round if Levan had the connection to his hand that he wanted.
@jameswebb3410
@jameswebb3410 22 күн бұрын
@@astwas That's not exactly what I meant by "insanely quickly". I'm not saying that the first round in it's entirety was quick. What I'm saying is that at the moment Levan initiated the press Devon got instantly stretched out. He offered no resistance. In the 1st round of his match against John in 2022 he started getting opened immediately off the go but he offered some resistance, it took some time for his arm to get near the pad whereas against Levan he was just flattened. That's what I meant.
@astwas
@astwas 22 күн бұрын
@@jameswebb3410 You're grasping at straws honestly by now trying to use the excuse of speed in which Devon was forced into a full kingsmove rather than comparing the sheer fact that Devon has been stretched into a full kingsmove fighting his hardest to survive in there against several opponents and for much longer overall duration than against Levan. Unless Devon's bicep tore here again, it comes down to how long/and hard he's fighting in his kingsmove position - which he has done many times before Levan and for way longer. We can also argue his pronation shouldn't have been as burnt out either even if the rest of his arm got burnt fast, yet once Levan got his confidence for subsequent rounds and ensured his wrist wasn't compromised before GO, it was child's play. U gotta let the excuses go, before it was "if Devon's bicep didn't tear he would've stopped Levan again" and now "well it was the speed at which Devon was opened up making him lose all his strength". Just accept the fact Levan is way stronger than Devon everywhere and the first round was actually a horrible start for Levan's hand - we even saw a practice pull not long after their second match where Levan continued to flash pin Devon repeatedly until he was gassed

Yes I agree with Bowen. If you enjoy content where someone is being made fun of, then there is something fishy there. I mean sure, to a small degree, you can enjoy that type of content. But it should be done in good nature, like "Ryan's a bit silly here but I like Ryan more after watching these videos, he's a good dude." But if you have malice behind your intent when you make these videos, or if you have malice while you're watching these videos, then it's a little bit questionable. I dunno, interesting topic. I think Ryan is a good dude, respect him, and think he has done great so far.

One underrated thing about current MMT is that he injured his hand in around 2018 and his hand may finally be healed and strong again which is key to him maintaining pronation in the king's move and being able to go back on offense.

9:40 Ermes and Michael have pulled before and Ermes almost won the match. That was a very much prime Michael Todd vs a very young and much smaller Ermes, but already then, Ermes did everything correctly. Ermes knows the key to beat the kings move.. climb climb climb, press, repeat. I don't think Ermes can lose to Michael Todd at this point. Still would like to see them grip up though. For some reason it's so satisfying to see the kingsmove get beaten.

With the thing about losing at maximum effort doing too much damage to really continue at a high strength I have to say there is strategy to getting avoiding that and being effective down the line in a supermatch for example with Nurdalet against Samushia even though he did eventually lose against a flop lane he finally busted Samushias hand back a few rounds in by keeping effecient backpressure without opening his arm connection time after time until it cracked. Mindaugas also pulls the same way defensively against hooking. Taking the L and putting more effective bullets in the next rounds vs fighting to get as much damage just in the hand while opening yourself

I mean when your losing the matches he's losing, how do you even have the guts to say that he see's himself going against people like Samushia... Levan haters are so phatetic and can't accept the truth that Levan is a generational armwrestler, most try to be the new Levan but they don't have his genetics, if Levan takes more than others it's because he has that ability and not because others don't want to. Many bodybuilders take enormous amounts of steroids and still don't have Levan's arm size and weight.

So much material for the delusional series. And no need to cherry pick and bring out of context like Ryan says, just literally left and right delusions going on. Even the white knight personality he tries he bring out when going public. Ryan complains of the harm these videos do, but all they are, are clips of him saying ridiculous things. Like saying to Michael Todd that he has a chance against Levan in the latest delusional series video... If you don't want people to make fun of you, don't give them the content on almost every single time you open your mouth. At almost 40 years of age and still expecting to be able to freely speak whatever he wants and wanting for others who might mock him are just humans with negative intentions is proof of itself to the delusion that goes on in his little fairy world.
