I can respect Ricky’s opinions while also respecting Kyle’s opinions, but have zero respect for the integrity of NASCAR’s decision. Both drivers acknowledged and owned having a variety of emotions and individual frustrations, while NASCAR penalizes only ONE driver. First point, Kyle Busch should have been suspended for a race for intentionally wrecking RSj. They did it to Bubba Wallace and Chase Elliott both in the last two seasons. They set a precedent and didn't follow it going forward. Second Point, if they are condoning the behavior of the punch then they should not show replays in highlights, posts and other social media. For that matter they should ban Fox and NBC from using it in their replays and promotions as well. You never see the streaker on TV at the Supper Bowl Game and you shouldn't see the replay of the fight that was penalized by the sponsor organization, in this case NASCAR.

Penalty not deserved, here we go think Xfinity series 2022, Martinsville Austin hill punches Myatt Sinder almost knocks him out and gets no fine or penalty, be more consistent nascar

They actually looked into that incident after it happened ("Officials felt on par with previous pit road incidents not penalized. NASCAR will look into fighting more in offseason."), because the circumstances were special, as in the fight wasn't in the heat of the moment. Since then, the only similar fighting incident was Ricky and Kyle, and it was met with a fine. Is that inconsistent?

GOOD, HONEST INTERVIEW. NASCAR SEEMS TO MAKE RULES FROM RACE TO RACE AND LAP TO LAP SOMETIMES, DON'T THEY? IT'S ALWAYS BEEN THAT WAY. THEY NEED SOME CONSISTENCY.

He didn't right rear hook him like Bubba or Elliott did, he just got into him and instead of spinning, Ricky decided to turn right and pound the wall. Kyle wasn't meaning to destroy his car. Do we penalize anybody who makes contact with another cuz they're mad?

Same thing with Kyle Busch. Dude runs 30th+ every weekend and we still think he’s good?
@jacobrodrigueztx5 ай бұрын
@@BillyJane-tt2mcBro clearly hasn’t been paying attention to anything this season. Busch hasn’t ran 30th at all this season. The lowest he has finished is 27th which is not “30th+” you clearly don’t know what you’re talking about.

Yeah, I think he’s good. He won 3 races last year in mediocre equipment. This year his equipment has gotten worse. I am not too naive to recognize he has lost a step, but to think he is not good is not reality. His equipment is seriously lacking, in my opinion.

And NASCAR wonders why there are more empty seats disguised as fans every week. There are no more "characters" in major racing anymore. No balls, and that includes drivers, owners, promoters and sponsors. Go to your local short track folks.

Absolutely correct Ricky, Kyle should have been the one that had been penalized. He totally lost his cool and acted like a 2 year old! He should have been the one that was penalized! Enough said!
