Ja das stimmt mit der BRD - GmbH, unsere Großeltern haben auch massive Zeiten 1 + 2 Weltkrieg, Inflation, Hunger, Zwang - meist nicht freiwillig in den Krieg ziehen usw. erlebt.. jetzt sind wieder herausfordernde Zeiten .. und diese wird es vermutlich immer wieder geben.. im Geist in der Seele könne wir uns unabhängig machen von den ständig verändernden Verhältnissen und z.B. mit der Natur so weit wie möglich in Einklang kommen usw. es heißt ja so schön, wahre Freiheit beginnt im Geist..

Okroshka is a traditional cold soup of Russian cuisine, which is prepared in the spring and summer. The obligatory components of okroshka are bread (rye, barley) kvass, fresh cucumbers, dill, green onions mashed with salt, table mustard, hard-boiled egg and sour cream. And we, for the last 10 years, have been preparing okroshka without eggs, sausages and anything boiled. There everything is only fresh from the garden and there is nothing from animals, except for kefir. Soup is amazing!

In Serbia we make the salad with the same ingredients we just mix them with mayonnaise. We call it russian salad. Много укусно. ❤

Nastya, I wanted to give you a tip on the eggs. Instead of boiling them, steam them for about 15 or 16 minutes. The peel easily almost every time and it's quick. I love how nicely your home and garden looks.

So Olivier Salad is for more than new year, with some modifications it can become a refreshing soup. The bread looked delicious as well. I make salads and add some croutons, olives, and raddish slices to takethe place of the potatoes. Great program.

You can make kvass yourself with some dark bread and yeast. Just look up homemade kvass recipe. Another option is to replace kvas with kefir or ayran or any other sour milk drink. But I personally don't like kefir version. It's totally different taste in my opinion.

Как сделать квас: 1) высохший черный хлеб 1 килограмм ,положить в горячую воду 5 литров,добавить сахар 5 столовых ложек. Дать остыть воде до чуть тёплой. 2) добавить дрожжи,20 грамм,оставить на столе на 24 часа. 3) процедить ,хлеб из кваса убрать . 4) залить в 2 литровые бутылки и добавить по 5-10 штук изюма в каждую бутылку. Оставить на 2-4 часа на столе. 5) бутылки поставить в холодильник с продуктами. Как будет холодным,так можно пить или лить в окрошку( суп).

Love the hedgehog running around. My grandmother told me how in the garden allotment they had in Germany that a hedgehog was a very precious creature and would eat the grubs that would chomp on your garden plants. Too bad we don’t have them in Canada - they look very sweet.
