I'm cooking borscht according to my grandmother's old recipe! Life in a Ukrainian village!

I like to be in the village. My mother lives here. Today I will prepare a delicious dish - borscht according to my grandmother's recipe! In our village, borscht is usually eaten with potato donuts!
Try to cook such delicious donuts! I will leave the recipe below.

Recipe for potato donuts:
Potatoes - 3 pcs (300 g)
Boil the potatoes until ready
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Egg - 1 pc
Sugar - 1 teaspoon
Potato broth - 200 g
Dry yeast - 8 g
Mix everything
Flour - 450 g (+-50 g)
Knead the dough
Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
Put in a warm place for 30 minutes
Oil your hands well
Divide the dough into 12 parts
Download into balls
Cover with a towel and wait 10 minutes
Oil
Fry over medium heat until golden brown

А чи можу запитати де в Україні знаходиться Ваше село? Мені 70, готую багато різних борщів,але у нас в Галичині дуже рідко був борщ з капустою...а томатна паста - це взагалі ніколи! Тому й цікавлюся звідки з України...А от пампухи - надзвичайні!!! Треба буде спробувати. Дякую. (Я вже понад 40 років у Чехії)

У Львівській області) Бабуся завжди давала капусту до борща) Неодмінно спробуйте приготувати пампушки! Вони ну дуже смачні! Вітання з Львова!

@@TraditionalFoodintheVill-ri3kp Здивувалася,бо я зі Львова і у нас в родині не давали капусту(у дитинстві-юності пригадую). Моя бабця (1892 року народження) такий борщ називала "совєцький"🤭...Пригадую,що бувало розварила у борщі румбарбар, щоб "був трохи квасний". Або ж давала трішки яблучного оцту. Але томатна паста - ні у кого так не вживали. А у селах було і жменю порічок насипали, літні квасні яблучка у печі розпекли і у борщ...Навіть вишні розварювали - на Волині це їхній літній борщик такий...А пампухи будуть найближчим часом! Щиро дякую. От мої чехи дивуватимуться!!!
