As ANY profession, people with a lot of talent need to be careful who they work with as the norm out there is to see others take advantage of your talent and effort by justifying it with stupid rules. That Is why IMO you will feel disappointed when working in many companies expecting that everyone is as talented as yourself. Ppl in companies see for themselves and the money they make, ppl with talent are just an asset.

What do you code using C/C++ ? I ask bcoz, I am just having hard time to explore C++ just bcoz I am so unaware (and idk where to start) of libraries etc and some good enough medium difficulty projects.

What I hate... - Frontend - OOP languages - Being told what to do What I like - Assembly/C - Performance - Creating things from scratch, with minimal to no libraries - Game dev - Owning the product I'm 20 years old cs student and I just realized that working for other companies is not for me. The only thing that stopped me from creating my own company before was marketing. But I will learn it and start my own company. It's not like I don't know OOP or whatever fucking bullshit they use, the problem is that they will use me and I will waste my time. One problem is that I've always tried to find someone with similar interests to start the company with. I've talked with some students in my class and they are all fucking lost mf. Should I just do it on my own or keep trying to find someone to start the company with?

Isn't this basically a description of the whole "rat race", no matter the profession you're in? You see I agree with you but if you want to have full ownership over the product then you need to be belonging to the top 0.01% of all builders / devs in the niche that you're passionate about or even in the world. Imagine the small team of 20 people who built the iPhone back in the day. They were working for a mega corporation but they had full ownership and they were not there by chance. I highly recommend you read "Build" by Tony Fadell I'm sure you'll love it!
