Glad you got the experience. Now, before you mount the new belt, check the drive pulley on the transmission and the idler pulley. Trans pulley needs to be flat spinning. Jack up rear so both wheels off the ground and spin a wheel while watching the pulley. Check the idler pulley for free, smooth spin. Replace if not smooth or wobbly. Any wobble can throw belt off and can damage the belt. Best of luck.

Always replace a belt after going to the trouble to get to it unless you know how old it is. Getting the right size belt can also be a trial. Raised beds look great. A happy summer to you all. ❤️😁🌹

OMG, cover crop in the prime growing season? Plant tomatoes with carrots and basil around them. Peppers with lettuce under them. Plant intensively . Kale, collards, mustard greens, bush beans, pole beans, potatoes, sweet potatoes, herbs lots of perennial herbs, rhubarb, horseradish, Jerusalem artichokes, sunflowers, strawberries. So much can be grown now. You missed to growing season for cabbage, cauliflower , broccoli and brussel sprouts but those can be grown in the fall if you start seeds now indoors for a late July August planting.

My car has some weird quirks to it also, not that I would work on it but my mechanic tells me its a pain in the ars to change the fuel filter. Some thing about taking the bench seat in the back out.

I just bought a couple of coir door mats to put in the bottom of my nest boxes. I've had egg breakages & whenever I put straw in there, they kick it out. I don't know if it'll work yet.

I have a question about meat birds. If they are bred to grow quickly, how do you let them mature long enough to lay eggs with out having to process them before that maturation. I thought meat birds got disproportionate physically quickly.

Cornish Cross won’t live long enough to lay eggs and won’t hatch being cross bred, that’s why you have to buy them from the hatchery, the Red Ranger and others don’t grow as fast as the Cornish and can be left to mature to lay, dual purpose are able to be grown for both eggs and meat, The American Bress is a dual purpose that has been bred for the specially marbled meat

My dad rebuilt his Cub Cadet two times. Rebuilt the engine, rebuilt the transmission. So pretty much everything So he went one time to a dealer for parts and someone there made a snide remark. My father replied to the effect that he had already rebuilt. The guy started asking questions and my father explained, including rebuild the engine and the transmission. As my sister said in kindergarten, my dad can fix anything. Only 5'2", half blind, and.... I think it was a washing machine or a dryer that was worse he said.
