I’ve seen some creators quote things in their intro like “I have new beauty videos every week” and I feel like that’s something that would be good for you. I watch because the quality of your content and the uniqueness of your eyeshadow preferences. I’m not here for a set number and I think a lot of us want you to be healthier about your work and your content will reflect that.

Hi Angie! I used to film 3-4 videos a week but I also found myself working through the weekends and I came to the same realization. Life is short and I felt so bad that I wasn't spending as much time with my husband and son as I could be. The whole point of being your own boss is to create your own hours. I think I was afraid of my channel suffering if I didn't post as much but honestly...the opposite happened and my channel is growing even more. It could be because I'm not posting just because I feel like I have to, and I'm enjoying it more and coming up with more creative video ideas. ❤️

To me the whole point of KZbin is to be your own boss and live a life that you want if you choose live life over making videos when you want time you are 100% in the right to do so. Those of us that have been around for a while will still be here no matter if you make 1 video a month or 50.

This declaration makes me happy for you 😊 I too can be a workaholic-and also a recovering people pleaser, but that’s another story lol-but having cancer and doing chemo forced me to take time for myself and it took THAT for me to realize that it’s ok to take time off. Taking care of ourselves, HOWEVER we choose to do that, is ok. Admittedly I still feel a little guilt when I take an entire day for myself, but I’m working on it. My promise to myself once I was cleared and cancer-free was/is: Take the time. Buy the shoes. Go to the movies/mall/park when I want to. Put myself first. I’m so glad it didn’t take something bad happening to you for you to realize that a day off does NOT make you lazy. Love your channel and thank you for being a part of my “me” time! 🧡🧡🧡

reclaiming time is wonderful. Mid August I finish my last class for my BA and the Conferral of Degree happens 9/1. I've been doing the online classes what seems like decades. The free time gained is going to be tempting to refill with tons of things. Gotta really think about that. (I turned 64 years old a few days after I finally get my degree)

As a fair skin person I haven't had many bronzer options other than too dark and too warm lol. It's obviously getting better. I love that companies aren't releasing 1 or 2 bronzer colors anymore because how could that possibly work for everyone I mean tons of people have skin darker than the color bronzer I'd need so they'd clearly need a darker bronzer. It's still difficult to find things that aren't too warm but it's getting there. I prefer contour shades or powder foundation in a few shades darker as bronzers because they aren't so warm. I've noticed it's hard to find darker foundations in different undertone though, especially in the drugstore. It's like you must have warm skin if it's deeper than a sheet of paper like me and that's ridiculous.

That Sigma PR box is lovely. On another note, the Sigma highlighter palette is one of my most favourite things in my collection. I was contemplating buying a back up but am so happy it is in a single now. There are some of the highlighters that don’t work on my skin tone so being able to rebuy the ones that do is just so awesome. The sigma highlighters are just stunning. Angie, just do what you want to do. You are one of the hardest working beauty KZbinrs, and we’re a pretty dedicated fan base. Life is short and you are in a new place, enjoy that.

Even the drive-in was a lot of fun but there are not to many drive-ins left here in our area. Great idea to take the weekends off and explore, hang out by the pool or go shopping 🛍. I have really enjoyed your all matte eye looks, my texture is so much on my eyes and as much as I am sad about the sparkle I am moving beyond it and your all matte looks have helped with that. I thank you. My experience was go, go, go for years and one day around 40 years old I realized it was not really working for me anymore. It was difficult to change my mind around it but I was so much more happy after I slowed it down. Still busy, but now at a much slower pace. So I get it! ❤️

I love all matte looks too because there are shimmer shades that get crapy even if your lids are not. The look is so nice. Loving the movies with recliners now!! Yum spicy cauliflower are my favorite! If you like cooking. My mom has been making deep fried cauliflower since I was a kid. You need to have a few days off to keep your sanity…💕

Omg yes!! Alamo Drafthouse is what the theaters are called! I grew up in a rural part of Texas and only went to an Alamo Drafthouse theater once I moved to Austin for college (just graduated last week) thinking it would be just like a regular movie theater when I bought the tickets online, and when I showed up with my friend who’d grown up in another small town we were like...OMG, is this just what movie theaters are like in large cities?! 😭 Love you Angie!! OMG I wore our favorite foundation after self tanning to work the other night. I ended up lightening up mine more with the L.A. Girl White foundation adjusting stuff. Best $8 you ever spent!!! I truly believe the same way. We work enough to live and spend time together .
