I'm a convert to the church of Yaoshi. Dewdrop goes hard, especially with Luocha or double healers. But you do need some defense boosts as well. Full disclosure I have yet to try/beat D5 but we'll see.

Whatever path you chose, you will need that 3 star Destruction card that shares all the damage across the team. If you upgrade that card, it buffs the team with -15% damage reduction.

I had a good time with nihility if u have kafka, the swarm nihility combo gives ur attacs like from support or healer also kafkas talent that triggers dot dmg but on normal attacs

The good things about Swarm Disaster as an endgame, as well as, already THREE perma content additions (Aurum, Museum and League) - is that is shows, that Hoyo's Star Rail team able AND willing to keep adding the content into the game AND keep it. Which is fucking awesome as far as I am concerned. Because, while I am stuck at dif 4 of Swarm Disaster, I know, that I will beat it at some point. And it's a goal to reach. As well as - that there will be even MORE goals like that, and even move great content. So thumbs up.

The thing about this is that once you beat it, that’s it, no reason to come back, no weekly stuff. Unless they make it weekly, add more stuff, change some things, etc. it’s going to be like dragonspine or enkanomiya from genshin, once compete with no replayability. No one will play it. Can it be a replayability end game content? Sure it can, but as of now it’s not. Unless hoyoverse update it

@@brentlee6616 I’ve cleared it all and I feel that this mode still has a lot of replayability. Peak gourmet for those wanting to do shenanigans and what not. Meme builds, madness mix paths, crazy challenges are all on the table for this mode. It allows you to do a great deal of things to cure your boredom, also no need to rush or pressure to do it cuz no time limit so it’s all fun and games.

​@@brentlee6616 while everything u said is true, what i think some people arent recognizing is that swarm disaster actually opens up a lot of new possibilities on how they can expand the simulated universe. lorewise its about the fall of aeon and simulating that disaster and implementing that into the gameplay. this opens up the door to creating similar type things w/ different disasters/events in the universe being implemented in the simulated universe as well that could possibly have a completely different gameplay. it makes me optimistic about the future for simulated universe especially b/c they seem intent on pretty frequent updates to it.

Tough content that takes a long time to beat is super gratifying and Star Rail did it perfectly. You're not held back from progression if you fail, the regular Sim Universe, Forgotten Hall and Memory of Chaos are still there, so you can take all the time you need to beat Swarm Disaster That being said, holy hell do I hate fighting those bugs

It's not very gratifying because it bullshit kind of hard not challenging hard. The only thing that really makes it hard is the stupid high damage output. The fights are nothing new, and the bug bosses are just annoying. Yeah, you can eventually beat it, but you aren't happy when you do. It's more relief that you can go do something else.

Imma say this: rubert 3 cometh makes me RAGE: with my current team I can clear all 5 stages, but due to lack of buff that Rubert’s quest makes you (due to having to go in a straight line.) it’s practically impossible, and if you get abundance, it just makes it worst, giving you a glimmer of hope when you get past the 2nd planar boss, only for it to get crushed when u get over or under 0 turns.

What i liked about all the simulated universe content was how in its way introduced to gameplay mechanics for combat like DoT , follow up /counter atk, speed and turn manipulation and even niche ones like pure freeze (I have a feeling in the future there will be characters that could make an actual viable freeze team not just in simulated but also in any other content

I clear diff 5 first try with abundance path (luocha, bronya, blade, dhil all e0s0 only balde is e0s1) the mercy allows u to take the longest route to the final boss so u can collect as much blessings as u can, i take hunt/preservation/propagation buff besides the abundance so i still have damage Edit: btw when I use this path combo I can still hit 500k -1M per basic attack with dhil (300 - 500k for blade) I think if u don't hit these numbers it would take forever to kill the final boss and since i have no shield i might be wiped out first since they do stack dmg bonus over time

I'm not FTP, but I beat difficulty 5. I was living carelessly and bypassed any fights I could skip and skipped map nodes to speed to the Swarm boss at the end. My support is built well with HP & DEF. I selected Abundance for the HP boost so every1 was 4500k+ hp which avoided these 1 shots shown. I had limited blessings so I would think someone who was FTP or a light spender who maxed out their blessings throughout the run using abundance with solid support could take down this challenge. GL!

I JUST finished Difficulty 4 - JUST barely with the Abundance path. The only way I got through it was by doing all of those mini-challenges to upgrade that skill map. I still don't have the Propagation path (RIP), but I'm gonna try and complete that skill map to unlock it ASAP! Good luck!

im f2p and i cleared stage 5 with the Abundance path and used gepard, dan hengIL, clara, and natasha. i took advantage of Mercy to go thru as many rewards and elites as possible to get the blessings that i wanted. The main MVPs are the gold destruction card that shares damage, the gold hunt weakness break + enhanced so that all allies are moved forward after dan heng weakness breaks the small swarms, and the blue hunt card that regenerates tons of energy after defeating an enemy so that my dan heng could go again with his burst XD the abundance dewdrops are an added bonus to my damage so it took me around 2 hrs to finish the whole thing.

They get Tanky because of the Red Count Down accumulating, I think Abundance main Path so far makes the Countdown from Red to Blue to negate the Buffs from accumulating for the enemies, but you had to route well as much as you want to explore & obtain new stuffs about Simulated Universe' Propagation Investigation Game Mode. I'm not so sure what the other Path does to prevent the Red Countdown from accumulating

Use Qingque for all of us IL skippers! The new path seems to be made for IL and QQ, as well as the last boss having imaginary and quantum weakness. So even if you are F2P and skipped IL, you (should) be able to do clear just as well with QQ...

Destruction is the best path especially if you get lucky and get some 3 stars of the hunt along with it. The enemies got 3 moves before i won. The Hunt Path is also very good with 1k crit damage being possible. Not as strong as destruction but it's still very viable. With the destruction path, make sure you start with the error code that reduces damage taken while under 50% or you may have a hard time and get oneshot. If you didn't get it, clear the current room and enter the next and exist out and restart.

A tip is that you really want an AOE character cause if you stick to a ST like Seele if you can't kill the swarm fast enough they will infinitely duplicate & stack their damage buff where if the fight goes long they will eventually one shot your characters.

I actually took advantage of that though. With enough damage you can pick them off one by one, make them boom and cause them to kill themselves slowly. I even welcome more of those tiny critters. Then again, it's probably dependent on your buffs and stats since I can one shot them at stage 4. Haven't tried stage 5 yet.

All bos have buff in self and stack can't be dispel so only advice is fast kill before bos got higher buff

I use: Luo Cha IL Blade Fire MC and go path of abundance, as long as you don't get one shot, you don't die Other than Blade and IL, the rest are at level 70 Haven't cleared diff 5 yet but did 4 quite easily

Ive done difficulty 5 on every path except preservation. I have no gepard. Is fire MC enough? His quake damage does nothing man

I use dan heng il + tingyun + luocha + silver wolf But with the damage that enemies do now days i might have to switch tingyun or silver wolf with gepard or fu xuan (if luck is by my side and i manage to get any of them at some point)

Technically, the best path SHOULD be Abundance. The only problem is, without a damage soaker like Fire MC or the shared damage Destruction blessing, you're going to take a LOT of damage. I'm sayin' almost enough to one shot your character damage. This is probably the only time where the hunt path is the wordt path you can take because them bitches are FAST FAST

best paths are actually destruction and preservation in this one, you need the paths survivability to deal with the enemies one shot potential, abundance is great as a dip to get a few nice to have blessings but a full run on it would require some destruction/preservation as a heavy investment on the side, when i did it on diff 5 i had 18 abundance 8 destruction and 9 preservation blessings total

Needing or wanting to auto battle matches to me is just bad game design, although I do put some more leeway in that this is a game that requires you to grind for materials and Equipment but your main quest line combat,first fight boss battles and the weekly ones should all at least not make you want to auto and are complex enough that you couldnt rely on it. This goes for end game content like simulated universe and halls of ascension also less. It shows up or I think about auto battle is all the better for the game long term because being able to successfully auto play content that is supposed to be challenging is a red flag to the games life span overall
