I like this Air Case- I’m over soft cases. Plus the seat aspect you highlighted really is a bonus a lot of the time.

Pelican cases from 1510,1610, and s100 backpack

100% on hard cases for protecting your professional gear! Thank you for making a video that's more on the professional side that isn't seen in KZbin very often. I've used a lot of Pelican, Storm, and SKB cases, but my favorite is Nanuk. They are just as good as Pelican and they fix all the little things that could be improved.

Yeah I have used my fair share of Nanuk cases, they are really good. Thanks for watching and the comment Jim!

Great Review, Rafael! What is the model of the small case at 3:17?
@RafaelLudwig Жыл бұрын
Thanks Radoslav! The smaller case is the Pelican Air 1535, great for carry on. travel. amzn.to/3SPQ3oQ Thanks for watching and the question!

Can I fit three Godox 600BMs in the bottom section and still use the top?

Have you ever flown with this case? My concern is American Airlines counting it as an "over-sized" bag. Dimensions online show it comes in at 61.13 inches just barely over the 62" max dimensions. Thanks for your response!

Don't seat on your backpack!!!! lol..., Those cases are gold my friend. I've never owned one but I can see how durable and a good protection for the gear they are. The only thing would be the cost, but after all, we pay top money for our expensive gear, so why not protect it as it deserves! Thanks my friend!
@RafaelLudwig4 жыл бұрын
That's exactly it, all the money spent on gear should warrant at least some consideration. I started with a smaller case at first, and bought the bigger one only when I had more gear to fit in it. Thanks Ruben!

Hey Rafael, I just bought a 1535 Air case and made a simple modification to allow me to attach a tripod to the case for traveling 👍
@RafaelLudwig2 жыл бұрын
The Tripod is always the odd man out with that case, great that were able to rig it! How did you do it? Also, thanks for watching and the comment!

@@RafaelLudwig I made a short video showing the modification on my channel cost about $5 👍🏽

Sweet. I unfortunately am not that well equiped.. meaning I dont have alot of gear but that case looks amazing. You could buy that one then not need to buy a bigger one for a while. Also like the second POV in the vid. Like a side conversation. Made me smile and it was nice havent really seen that in any videos that i can recall
@RafaelLudwig4 жыл бұрын
That’s exactly it! Buy it when you need it, it took me awhile to get this one, only about a year since I got it, but should have got it sooner. Got tired of dollies! The second POV I lifted straight from Jashim’s videos kzbin.info

Hello Rafael, Great Video. Please what is the name of the tripod you have in the case?
@RafaelLudwig3 жыл бұрын
It's the Benro Aero 7 Carbon Fiber Travel Video Tripod Kit with S7 Video Head geni.us/qUA77 There are less expensive ones but the carbon fibre with the S7 Head work really well for my C200 set up. Thanks for watching and the compliment!

Love my backpacks. Most of the stuff I shoot won’t allow for a hard case, that being said I just got the Nanuk 935 and I freakin love it.

Thanks for the video review - really good. How is this case for flying? weight/size/cost etc
@RafaelLudwig3 жыл бұрын
I've flown with it twice, and both times I put it in oversized luggage and paid $100. The case by itself with the foam pads is about 20lbs, the rest depends on what you decide to put in it. I haven't had it over 60lbs. Also, Make sure you have insurance if flying with it! Thanks for watching and the comment!

Is this case small enough to use as a carry-on? I'd never check my camera gear on a flight so if it's too big for that it defeats the purpose.
@andrewporfyri5593 жыл бұрын
did I read the specs correctly that the top compartment is only 5.1cm deep?
@RafaelLudwig3 жыл бұрын
Perhaps the lid ;) But the top and bottom compartments are about 7 inches deep each. Thanks for watching and the comment Andrew!

@@RafaelLudwig Fantastic,At the moment I'm carrying 2 bags at small photo shoots,one for my lights & the other for my camera gear so I think this bag will convert 2 bags into one & room to store a smaller bag on top if needed.

Lmfao! an onsite seat??? SOLD!!!! Jokes aside, I'm pretty minimalist when it comes to photography and carry one equipment bag and one light bag. Learning how to transport video stuff has been something I havent thought about until you mentioned this video and that pelican looks like perfect way to store all my video apparatuses. It def doesnt look "bulky". Now the issue is can I keep myself from dumping everything in it so it doesnt weigh like a tank. Great great video Rafael. You've given me something to think about. I def need to condense my travel carrier for video equipment.
@RafaelLudwig4 жыл бұрын
I am the same for Photography, it's when I start doing both photo and video work - I wish I got this case sooner, even for storage at home. Organized and safe from small curious hands. The Seat comes in handy when waiting for a client to arrive on set.

Finding this after buying a 500 camrea bag only to find out i need a roller. After spending 500 on the bag and loading my stuff i couldnt carry it. Its heavy. Now im going to return it for a roller
@RafaelLudwig10 ай бұрын
The only camera bag I use isn't even a camera bag it's a small pouch that I put in my backpack. for an extra lens and a body and batteries. I'd rather keep the pack light then lug all the gear. Otherwise rollercase! Thanks for watching and the comment!

i wanna stop anyone who’s considering the neewer trolly bag, those things damage so quick. as a wedding videographer who lugged them around constantly, they don’t hold up, i ended up buying a pelican 1615 and a 1637

I was considering a two case setup and here you are using just one. Awesome. What light stand would you recommend for this setup that’s strong enough to hold a cob led with modifier attached?
@OrigEntertainmentOfficial Жыл бұрын
It looks like he is using the Matthews stand. I have heard good things about those. Small enough to fold over and travel with but strong enough to hold up small lights. Probably an umbrella but probably not a softbox.
