The fact that the rathian clip happened to me so many times is just pure pain. And also the time where your mount is interrupted because you're so close to the corner the monster can't move while it's mounted. Happened to me twice in one hunt of a gammoth cuz it's so big TvT

One time (just once, fortunately) I ended up killing a monster right within the exit of a zone/area somehow, so I couldn't carve it at all, since walking to it would just load me to another area on the map. At least there were still quest rewards lol

I still remember when I used to play Frontier. Game is unfair asf, the worst offender of them all. But I was always quick to notice how the monster always, regardless of difficulty, would have a brief idle animation, giving you room to escape should you fuck it up bad. I think that should be a thing in all titles, because high rank and above is so fkn relentless sometimes it almost makes you not want to play the game (looking at you, Shogun). You know the moment you go out there you are prohibited from blinking, and if you do it's a one hit kill gg. Also moves shouldn't always have realistic hitboxes. Sometimes a bit of a nerf is more fun. That pickle tackle is absolute aids.

@@debleb166 Oh, that is absolutely true. Back then I also didn't have a controller. Grinding Dhuragaua was one of the most painful things I've ever had to do in a game after the triple egg quest or the 10 goldenfish.

I'm a fiver got my start in MHW. I know it differed greatly from the OG titles of MH. I would not of played MH older titles because the animation lock for healing and item taking. Knowing myself and what I consider unfair design, IMO, being force to watch you character complete and animate after health is arelady in your bar I think is RAGE inducing. I am so glad and thankful they took that out for World. Makes it feel less clunky or at least looks less.
