If you stayed with a consistent stick brand and curve you’d probably have better hands. Constantly changing the lie on your stick isn’t a good idea it drastically changes how you shoot and handle the puck.

Look at the standings they're like the doormat of the league so your comment is pretty accurate. Weak D core and lots of selfish plays on odd man rushes where the forward is hanging onto the puck weewaaayyy too long. Also, why does nobody on this team crash the net?;😮😢 The one goal they scored was because one of their guys screened the goalie. Rest of the night not a single body in front of the net?? C'mon man .....

Two things, 1. You have incredible edge work in the corners and really great sensibility of how to keep your feet moving while sticks are trying to poke check you and lift up your stick behind the net. No one else on your team, has that level of puck control. 2. Where you guys are incredibly weak, is your shots. You are using $329 sticks made with the best technology and barely placing your snapshots and wrist shots above 60-70 mph. I use a $112 stick and my shot is 86 mph at snapshot and 94 mph as slapshot. You guys can easily put a 80+mph shot on if you draw from the hip and really rotate that wrist over. It seems your level of team, like to try to dangle when it’s not necessary which spots their feet from accelerating and doesn’t give them the time to draw the power from the hip needed to convey a stronger shot. Big fan of yours for just posting and grinding.

@@andersborum9267 both my brother & I, had career ending injuries. We couldn’t be drafted then. I didn’t use my radar, they had radar inside the nets we used at Select and USA camps. We didn’t have access to pro-stock sticks either bc it was 10 years ago. My shot is still 86-94 mph. You don’t lose the ability to shoot hard after a decade.

Excellent first period again ! Hell, Brody scored and it seemed like the team was really dialled in but after the first period break it fell apart again, Brody and five or six others fought like hell but the rest of the team just literally broke apart and lost focus! It happens time and time again! Brody is the main player along with Klunk , Eryk, Riley, etc, there’s I believe 7 from the original team two seasons ago, those guys want the win’s, but the new guy’s just don’t seem to want to get it done! Been watching since elite academy video’s and when you see brody wanting to be alone looking down at the end, you know it’s really taking a toll on the guy ! Kid’s got heart ! 👍🏻💯

I would agree. As an alternate captain during my last year of hockey yelling at your team is no way to lead. Inspire and make them want to work. That said, his team consistently shows they just do not care, that’s gotta be frustrating. Even the coach is fed up. As for the refs, yeah absolutely be nice to the refs. The amount of dirty stuff I’ve gotten away with because I respect the refs is honestly staggering.

@@greathoonta3461 There are times when absolutely the captains or a captain needs to give a good ass chewing. Normally teams will have a quiet captain that seems very go with the flow and grounded...and a more vocal captain that will get after guys and the captains need to balance and check each other. All this kid does is cry and complain. Can't believe there isn't another guy on the team, captain or not, that doesn't step up and lead the team. I've seen B.S. crybaby captains get called out by regular players. In reality on a mature team a captain is just for in game purposes that are allowed to talk to the refs or the refs talk to to manage the game.

@@wcb5890 no dude. Not in the way he does it. He doesn’t attempt to teach or tell them what they need to do. He just yells at them such wonderful advice as: “PLAY DEFENCE!” “WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING!” “”SKATE!” What constructive thing does that do? I’ll tell you what it used to do to me when my dad did that… it would piss me off and make me lose focus. Instead as a captain talk to them on the bench or between whistles. Tell them what is going wrong and how to do better. A leader doesn’t have the loudest voice, they have the most meaningful words and actions. He’s not a good captain, and his yelling at officials is the worst part because antagonizing them makes them not want to talk to you which means they won’t reason with you or give you the benefit of the doubt. I know this because I was both really nice to officials, and now an official myself. So I’ll say it again, he’s not a good captain and he’s not a good leader.

Is cool to see your boy Diamond Hands playing for a team in my neck of the woods of where I am originally from. He’s a Komet now and I grew up going to their games and Indy Fuel games which was the Indianapolis ICE back in the good ole IHL days ha. Funny too as the colors of his uniforms haven’t changed ;) He still gets to wear that bright orange haha! I think those orange uniforms you all wear are sic actually and same with Ft. Wayne’s. Yea the black uniforms I like more but no complaints with the orange. Man you guys are all fortunate to still be playing at the levels you are. I had to go out and get a real job, and don’t get me wrong, the beer leagues are fun, but as you know Trew it’s no where near the same, not even the slightest ha. Yup, I would be embarrassed too if I scored the first goal of the game at 2;21 minutes into the game. Then you guys played a pretty good first period. Eryk scored a goal early into the second period, no surprise there, but then thats when not only you but even the assistant coach agreed with you when you asked him to talk to one or two players in the third period. You were yelling direction to your players , thats what a captain should be doing so you and the same guys were doing it right. Love the way you stand up to guys much bigger than you and dont give an inch. Learn from the loss, then dont let it get you down because from what we seen, you did it right and well as did the same five or six guys from the original team . Cheers.

Honest question....does this team even strength train? they get beat on almost every puck...not sure how #11 is even on this bad of a team...moves like a turtle. Apparently it is not a checking league either...reaching and slapping at pucks when you could take a guy out. Honestly, take more shots man. You don't need to be at the inner faceoff circles to take one. If you find a lane take it. You have the most points on the team, but its mainly from assists. Your team has no real goal scorer, and compared to last seasons stats, you guys lost some of the guys that would get pucks in net. Its time to find the new guys who will do that, you have a good shot, screw it dude let it rip. If the team isn't going to do it, then someone needs to. Half of the goals from the Sharks were goals off of rebounds. Pretty much goals where they pick up the trash. Its great to be a play maker, I get it that's how I got most of my points in Jr PIHA and Narch. But any time I noticed that the crew I was with wasn't scoring, I'd start taking more chances. Keep the head up Trew! Come in the next season with a new game plan and be ready to dominate!

The fade out at the end of that routing was appropriate, what do you even say about a game like that? Forechecking was non-existent, you were regularly double teamed while nobody came to help. In your own defensive end, nobody covered the wings, your goalie would make one decent save and a wide open opponent would just pick up an easy rebound uncontested and score, no pressure at all. No attempts from some teammates to even get open infront of the net for a shot attempt, I saw maybe 2 well timed cross ice passes infront of the net but nobody there to receive it. You obviously know most or all of this, and I applaud you for showing the good, the bad and the REALLY ugly. I can tell you, and your team(the ones that care) are super frustrated with the performance. You can bounce back bro, but sometimes you will hit rock bottom before you do.
