My husband and got married very quickly after getting engaged so only had 4 months to organize lol but in many ways this made it easier I had a list of things needed and just worked through them. For us with time been short finding a venue was the first priority. I found a really great winery in south Australia where we are that could offer the whole package. Great place for the ceremony and pictures indoor option if it rained, full reception area and food on site plus as it also had accommodation so friends from interstate could stay right there and we could as well on the wedding night which made the whole thing so easy and chill as very good budget wise. Would definitely recommend finding somewhere that has all things in one place that really saves on stress trying to coordinate venue change and catering. Discuss your budget and be sure what your limits are before you start looking, no point finding the perfect dress or venue to realize it's out of your budget. Think about what is important and focus money on there, are you big car people and want fancy ones? We weren't so just skipped that cost all together, do you want a big cake or just cupcakes and dessert table. Talk about it all so you know you are both getting the wedding you want. Biggest advice is remember on the day something might not be perfect we lost a groomsmens tie, forgot music during the signing and a few small things but all that matters is sharing the day with your best friend, our wedding was perfect because we were together still married coming up on 8years this year Congrats to you both and all the best in planing when it's safe to do so, if you have any questions feel free to ask I'm not a wedding planner but I live in Australia and would be happy to help, as for a Korean wedding I would be less helpful lol

I got married during the pandemic, I was only allowed 15 people but so thankful to have been able to get married, it really made me realise the important thing is your commitment to one another, don't feel the pressure to go big or expensive if you want simple and small, your wedding is what you make it, often put together weddings with people helping put stuff together for you is lovely, but main thing is just start getting ideas down of what both of you want from a wedding, budgeting, guests, colours, the basics and then work from there 😊 also enjoy it and try not to stress about it, the better you plan the less you have to think about it on the actual day - congratulations!

Honestly? With the way things are I would have a small wedding with family and close friends, and do like a Zoom broadcast for family that can't attend. Use the bulk of your funds on an amazing honeymoon, or for your down payment on a house (if that's how its done in S.Korea). I got married in spring of 2019 but never had the funds/time to do a honeymoon before the pandemic hit. Also a good photographer is a must have! You will be too stressed to remember everything, but a good photographer will know what needs to be captured

When planning, choose your guests first, and don't feel obligated to invite people just because they're family. Also, NEVER scrimp on your photographer - those are the pictures you want all your life. If they're bad because the photographer was cheap, it'll make you sad down the road.

Be firm on who you want in your guest list. And make sure it fits with the amount of people allowed in a venue. Have a wedding planner to handle the day of, so that you won't have to worry much about the wedding itself, and you can focus on yourselves. HAVE. A. BUDGET. CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH. As unfair as it all is, it’s almost as if everything was aligned. They got married, they went to Australia right before she fell ill, her parents were able to be with her for her last months. She was surrounded by the people that loved her the most 🥺.

구독한지 5~6년인줄 알았는데 기억을 더듬고 확인해보니 내기억이 맞다면 그것보다 좀 더 오래된 사라의 채널이 초창기시절 동영상이 10개도 안올라왔을 시절에 우연히 구독했다 난 조용히 시청하고 댓글을 남기는 스타일은 아니었다 아주 오래전 ,채널 초창기에 호주의 자기방에서 유튜브 생방송 하는걸 우연히 보게 되었고 지금처럼 많은 외국인들이 한국어를 tv에 나와서 자유롭게 구사하는 흔한 시기는 아니어서 신기했었다 기억이 흐릿하지만 사라는 생방송중에 아이돌을 좋아한다했고 주 로 음식얘기를 많이 했었다 박효신도 좋아한다 했었던거 같고 키가 177CM라는 큰 키를 알려줘서 이 또한 쉽게 기억이난다 내가 채팅으로 음식에 관해서 질문을 하고 사라가 대답을 해준것도 기억이 난다 그때 당시에는 유튜브가 한국에서 지금만큼의 대중화는 아니어서 더욱더 기억이 난다 처음에는 서울사랑하는사라 입니다 였던것도 보았고 인스타그램도 도중에 주소가 변경이 된것도 기억이난다 지금의 인스타그램주소로 변경되기전 예전 인스타의 하나 남아있는 사진은 아마도 가을낙엽풍경에 웃고 있는 사진이었던거 같기도 하다 시간이 흐르고 잊고있다 문득 기억이나면 업로드한 영상을 종종 봤었다 그 후 백혈병이 걸린소식을 알게되고 처음으로 dm을 보냈었다 싸워서 이기고 남자친구와 좋은음식먹고 추억쌓고 미래를 그리길 응원한다고 어느날 잘 어울리는 한복을 입고 편안한 표정을지은 모습과함께 슬픈소식이 담긴 영상의 썸네일은 갑자기 떴었고 썸네일을 보자마자 불행히도 무슨 내용인지 알거 같았다 이제와서 못본 많은 영상들을 오랜만에 연달아 시청하게 됐는데 나와 만난적이 없는 누군가에 대해서 이렇게 슬프고 눈물흘린적은 내 인생에서 처음이다 뒤늦게 안 사실은 사라는 나와 동갑이었다 왜인지 모르겠지만, 2일이 지났지만 슬픔과 눈물이 멈추질않네 마음이 너무 아름다운 사람이라서 그런걸까 착한 마음씨가 흘러 넘치는게,선한 마음씨가 항상 모니터 넘어 내가 있는곳까지 느껴지는 신기한 사람이었다 여운이 계속 가시질 않는다 한번도 실제로 본적 없고 이젠 영원히 못보겠지만 계속 하루종일 생각난다 사라 라는사람을 개인적으로 알지못했지만 오래전부터 영상으로만 접한 나에게 이 사람은 언젠가부터 선하고 마음이 너무예쁜사람으로 각인되어 있는거 같다 그래서일까 더 슬픈거 같다 동현님도 다른영상에서 말했듯이 아마 많은영상들을 되돌려보고 내 댓글도 볼거 같아서 내 희미한 기억속에 사라의모습을 작게나마 공유하고 알려주고싶어서 댓글을 길게 써봤다 마지막으로 사라 당신은 좋은곳에 갔을거예요 거기서는 아프지 마시고 좋아하는음식도 먹고 버블티도 마음껏 마셔요 동현님에게도 힘내란 말 밖에 못하는게 슬프지만 힘내세요 비슷한 경험을 해본 사람에 입장에선 산 사람은 어떻게든 살아지더라구요 그러면 어느새 옆에 누군가가 있고 시간이 걸리겠지만 놀랍게도 빈자리가 채워집니다 어떻게 마무리 지어야할지 모르겠지만 뿅!

YAY!!! I am so happy for you two! I can tell how much you love each other. And I can see all the love you feel for each other in your eyes! Wedding advice? My husband and I just got married at a courthouse here in Califronia. It was simple and inexpensive. We could not have a wedding reception or go on a honeymoon because we did not make a lot of money then. Since then(it has been 7 years now) my husband has gotten a big promotion. So for our 10th wedding anniversary, we are going to renew our vows, have a big reception, invite all of our friends and family, and finally go on a honeymoon! The only advice I will give you is it is your wedding, so make sure you do all the things you both want to do. Do not let other people pressure you into things you do not want. Whether location, cost etc. I am so happy and excited for you two! Wishing you both a lifetime of love with each other!❤

Congratulations Sara and Hyun!🎉I have to say I wasn't surprised at this video and the news that you guys kept the engagement quiet for a few months, I figured you guys would tell the world when you were ready, just like you did to announce you were dating. I'm so happy for you guys! As far as a wedding goes, my husband and I got married almost 3 years ago in a courthouse wearing clothes we already owned, with wedding bands from Amazon and a handful of family members. It rained on our wedding day but I've heard plenty of cultures believe that it is a sign of good luck, so knowing you guys got engaged on a rainy day makes me believe in the good luck for you both too! I know the world is in a tough place right now , and marrying in a courthouse/ through zoom might not be ideal but you guys can always have a wedding later with all of your friends and family members and have a big celebration. Rewatching some of their older videos. If there was any logic or justice in the world, Sara would still be with us, but life is such a mystery - sometimes beautifully and sometimes tragically. No matter how big or how small you plan on having your events, if you're hiring vendors or it's going to be DIY, all that really matters is that you organise the day/days (international couple vibes, I know the feeling!) in a way that allows you to enjoy them stress free and be present with each other and your loved ones. I'm so happy for both of you!! Im always so comforted by the fact that there's always such an amiable and positive energy exchange between the both of you, and always have candid honest conversation in everything you do. Though Sara's 2nd language is Korean, i have nvr seen any difficulty with this language barrier, you guys always understood each other because its the love language that matter. The fact that both of you found each other at such an unexpected time is also a great thing because amazing occurrences come to you when you are least expecting it.
