Now I know that 99% of people won't be able to do what he did with Skystriker but I think the point is is that there are stronger and easy to master decks like Vanquish Soul, Fire King with just Diabellestar and your 1 of Original without Wanted and the expensive engines if you can't afford it, and Branded variants that I know people can learn and play and see nearly equal success if they aren't to lazy to put the effort into the deck and not expect to feel the gratification before putting forth any effort. I see this and I can't see why people are complaining so much about meta staples. If I can play Branded and kick Tenpais' a$$ when they have the field spell without the need of cards like Cosmic Cyclone and they can't kill me with Trident Dragion after they pop their field spell in the exact same turn I negated their field spell with Luluwalilith, beat Yubel, and beat Snake-Eyes variants I can't see why other people can't see the same level of success that I have. I can just about guarantee that if you fiddle around with enough with cards like Branded in White and Kitt enough that you can probably come up with a budget alternative to Quem if you don't wan't to spend to much money.

I'm low-key considering main decking going 2nd cards in Memento because the board is strong enough going first that you don't need hand traps and it is stronger going second. Only issue is that shifter is just an auto loss at that point.

This is the equivalent of rikka still topping and winning events. People forget what sky striker does and fumble against it Like Joshua said. It was a meta call. Plants don't always do well even in EU events. They make a splash in like 1 or 2 events then do horrible if they try again in the following event.

I don't like Upstart because it's massive Droll bait, things are rough enough if you have to Engage into Drones as your starting play and get hit with it. If the rest of your hand is add spells that aren't Talents and Thrust you're not going to have enough gas to beat your opponents. Cyanos could help with that by using those dead cards as Discard outlets, but you're still only going to get so far.
