Just wanted to make a correction. The cost to borrow per day doesn't apply if you short and buy back the shares the same day. Only if you hold an overnight position.

Ross I'm currently running the trial with WT. I picked up CSHN as it was going up and found it suspicious. I ended up having fomo and traded it at about $40.5 and got out at the last candle that hit $40 as it continued to drop further . Came out with a small loss! I'm grateful for getting out with a small loss but I've learnt so much from that situation..... Was glad to see this video post that experience!

As I said in the earlier video the entry point was the 61% Fib retracement from $16, which was $7.50. A popular entry like using popular MACD. As far as those guys trading in HK. It figures. The Chinese government pumps stimulus into the banks. The banks must have Prop firms they fund. And to really stick to the US they dump at 4AM

I avoid shorting stocks due to the unlimited risk, I am an momentum trader, will ride the upward wave and slip out when I either feel I've made enough profit and want to avoid a sudden dip or if I feel like it's back up to a resistance point and I don't think it's going to break through, depending on the ticker and situation I may sell whole position or fractions to see how it goes.

I 1st saw this stock today when it was halted around $4.40. I looked for news and found none. I went back to trading other stocks and next time I look it's halted again around $6.50! Then they kept it halted for like an HOUR! I just ignored it and saw it hit $14 right before close then it went down to $12 and some change and still had decent volume so I decided to take a small position and when I clicked the BUY button, a message from my Broker popped up saying that they were ONLY accepting orders for this stock IF you CALLED it IN! I have NEVER seen a message like this before so I just left it alone. The next time I see it at $33 and saw that it actually hit a high of $44 ! 😭

This showed up on my scanner right after market close. I saw it curling up from the 12-13 price range and looked to be making bullish three line strikes. I didn't see any news or big sell orders lined up (at that time) on the level2. However, the spread was so rough that I decided to stay away (thought about buying 100 shares to satisfy my FOMO... lol). It was fun to watch. The safer play was ALTM in the aftermarket. Trade from 3.65 to 4.25. Then again from 4.19 to 4.50. There was buy out chatter.

And after watching quite a few of your videos i refrain from companies that are not established. More than $4.00 a share and if they had news recently and if i know anything about the industry. I really dont know chinese stocks and should not participate in that. I come from a mining town so thats where i noticed my profits are better. In demo accounts i have tried shorting and nearly every time i lost so that is also a no for me.

This is where fundamental analysis comes in. Because if you get caught holding the bag on a good company's stock, it shouldn't be the end of the world. Because what made the company valuable in the first place should still be intact. And the stock should be able to make a comeback. Although, it may not be right away.

It depends on your broker, but some brokers will let you place orders during a halt and then they execute at the resumption
