I'm failing minimalism. Here's why...

Consumerism has a long reach. Even in my efforts to live more intentionally I've recently lost sight of being mindful about my purchases. Living with less has freed up income and allowed me to afford more. It's taking will power to recognize spending habits and pitfalls. In this video I talk about my biggest weakness when it comes to consumption and intentional purchasing. I hope this video shows that the journey is never a perfect one. Let's fail forward shall we?

This hit home for me. I put off getting the iPhone 13 in the fall only to cave in Nov and upgrade. I still don’t remember what I get besides the variable refresh rate. Love the video. Great work.

I upgrade my iphone every two years. Skipped both the iPhone 13 and Series 7 watch in 2021. I do plan to upgrade to the 14 and Series 8 if they reduce that notch and finally have a watch redesign. I've been without a laptop for over two years now, Just have my iPad Pro 2020 and custom PC. Had been waiting for the new MBPs to come out and then that price lol. I think i'm about to go ahead and pull the trigger because the I want something more than an iPad when i'm mobile.

2 years is probably a good gap. I’ve skipped the 12 and 13 so far…And yeah I have the Mac mini and my iPad when mobile. I thought it would be fine because these days I’m always at home. But I share my office with my wife so having to move the mini feels crazy. I’m going to stick with it for a bit until it is just absolutely unbearable. My current MacBook Pro is a Mid 2010 LOL
