Maybe Rogue's DNA, or maybe there's something important inside the ring, since it has that little raised bit (can't quite make out what shape it is - cane/staff/snake or something) that could have something inside.

​@@Hyp_2.718it's a caduceus, the symbol of Hermes, snakes wrapped around a staff with wings. this has some very interesting implications, seeing as there's a statue of Mercury (Hermes' Roman counterpart) on the balcony, and some other imagery related to Hermes within the episode. interesting, seeing as they're doing a pantheon of gods...
