That always bothered me too! I didn't meet anyone else who thought that way. I'm from the age group they told us women could do anything but NOBODY TAUGHT US ANYTHING. Most women my age and younger don't know how to knit, make clothes or even know the difference between pressure canning and pressure cooking. Some are getting into gardening which is wonderful but they don't know how to preserve their harvest. They think they know things from university. To any young people watching, seize this perspective with both hands. Its not slavery to live the way we were designed, its an investment. The matrix will offer you a false choice that the land will not reward you but thr matrix will. That's your birthright being stolen from you. Curtis i think maybe you were lead to talk about this today because it needs to be hammered home. Its really our only way out of this. Sounds like a great conference, wish i could go!

Luckily information is so easy to gather,much with video and such, so you can learn nearly anything off youtube etc. When i grew up there were books,people you asked or you figured it out. There is really no excuse for anyone not to learn the skills they need today,it's a matter of taking it on yourself,because if you wait for people to tell you things,you will never learn anything.
@labradorite8256 Жыл бұрын
@@a4000t my point was though that the very people who were telling the young feminists they could do anything they wanted, didn't actually teach anyone anything useful at all. So everyone's walking around thinking they're educated and they know nothing. People won't seek out knowledge if they think they already know everything. Dunning-Kruger effect. There is no excuse but the mind block that has been installed in people.

I once heard the saying “Opportunity is dressed in overalls and looks like work”. Reminds me of 2 Thessalonians 3:10 (ESV): “If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat.” Working the land has been the most gratifying feeling I have ever experienced. Better even, that I know Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through him who strengthens me." Being 62, a diabetic and just got the news this week that the cancer is in remission makes me grateful, to man that small tiller, to use that shovel, fork and rake, to plant using those paperpots, to use a jang seeder, harvest that rain water, to harvest and share the crops. All in a arid land with little electricity. My motto for the past twenty years has been to balance live, "to Live, to Love, to Learn, to Leave a Legacy" thanks to the late Stephen Covey. I now added the goal, Hebrews 12:14 (ESV): "Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord." All this in a land which tops the gey list for money laundering and has one of the largest crime rates on the globe. I might not know you but give thanks to my God always for you because of the grace of God that was given you in Christ Jesus.🤗🙏🇿🇦

I got some organic Black Australorp eggs from Ontario and hatched them. They are also a dual purpose breed. They have a good personality, they give lots of large eggs, they are good for winter in Quebec. I insulated their coop from every side and did not use any other heat source, but I put greenhouse plastic to protect from the wind and heated their water. I also used hemp straw with the deep layer method in the coop. I think it went well. I have not changed their litter yet and it doesn’t really smell, although I stir it around once in a while. I put a peat moss baby bath tub for their bug feather protection underneath their coop. I wished I could have ducks as well but I live in the suburb on the South Shore of Montreal. I’m doing espalier fruit trees as well. I also have an L shape greenhouse because of my space. This is what I bargained with my husband since he doesn’t want to move to the country.

Has it really been that warm up there? 90f is extreme in that climate! I live down by the gulf coast and it has been an unusually chilly and overcast spring. We haven't even hit 90f yet and that wouldn't be out of the ordinary here. In fact, the gulf itself is holding record low temperatures for this time of year. This seems to be what is predicted for the grand solar minimum: warmer temps closer to the poles, much colder between, and weird weather closer to the equator, as well as a meridional jet stream which brings much warmer air much further north and much colder air much *further south. Get ready to get rocked by a big cold front in the next week or 2!
