So exciting! I hope all will go well once you try to introduce Bruce into the colony. I know adult male sugar gliders won't always accept joeys, but adult females usually will. So may need to grow little Bruce up for a while, or have Peka split her time between the two boys. Hopefully they will all just get along from the beginning.

Thats so cool! Bruce is so cute! Bruce will have a wonderful home. I just got some gliders recently. Their names are Flower and Bandit. They are super sweet and very cute.

@@maritorrez1040 I take my girls to the vet twice a year. Although when I first got them they had ended up needing quite a few vet visits. There is only one vet in my city that sees sugar gliders and its the “fancy” clinic so it can get spendy and often the vet has to sedate them to do a full exam so we got pet health insurance. ( do research on pet insurance cause a lot of them can be down right scams)

Hey Kimberly! I’m wondering if your steps for bonding with Bruce will be different from your adult gliders? I just got a Joey and I’m so nervous with her. She’s so fast and I’m trying to get her used to use and she seems to just want to go but I worry she’ll get lost or hurt.

I don’t think the steps are different but I can tell you for sure that I am a different owner than I was when I first got gliders 4 years ago. I am much more confident with handling and I understand their body language more. Be patient with your baby and yourself. It’s a learning curve for both of you ♥️

Bruce is a cutie pie for sure💞. I love having the four i have, but when I see a cute joey, I think " one more won't hurt" 😆, it is awesome when you can find a great breeder close to home, I have mentioned this before I think,,but Cinnamon &Ginger were a mile from me and I still keep in touch with the breeder. Star and Snowball were a 5 hour drive, but very worth it. Can't wait to see the new videos 😍 🤗

The only breeder near me was very unprofessional. Didn’t want to provide more photos or videos of the gliders, and said I had to get the males neutered myself. I passed 😂

I have had my Gomez for 3 months now. He will take treats from my palm and fingers, smell my hands, and bark at me for treats, marks the cage while I'm standing or sitting by his cage, grooms as if I'm not even watching, but he runs if I try to look at him in his face. He is fine coming up to me as long as it's not face to face. Any suggestions? Also, he loves any vegetable, but nit picks all fruits. Suggestions on this are appreciated as well.

That's fantastic! I'm so happy for you! Bruce is so cute! I just brought home an 8 week old joey female. I have three adults currently. I'm housing her separately and am waiting for her to grow larger before introducing her to my five year old female. There's not a lot of information on this when you Google it. I'm not planning on introducing her to my neutered males until she's eight months old unless I hear otherwise. I also am nervous about adding a wheel. She's 53 grams. They're so small. Do you have any information on this?

Yes I think size is a big factor. I will be documenting what I do with Bruce but he is big for his age. We are getting fecals on all the gliders and then doing a cold intro a couple days after he gets to my house. If it goes well, great. If not we will just give it more time.

We must have the same mind set! 😆😆 My previous sugar glider was Stella which I named after the children's book Stellaluna. Now my 2 little boys that I got a couple years ago are named Bruce and Todd after Batman and Robin. 😆 Let me tell ya, there are lots of Batman sugar glider stuff you can get for Bruce! 😄 My cage is covered in it! I can't wait to meet your Bruce!
