I don't know if you skipped specimen 9's (the parasite) death screen by accident, it's a text which reads "Now you have nothing to fear. Now you have nothing to think. Follow your selfish desires. Follow your natural instinct. After all you're just an animal. It's much easier than trying to think" as the parasite takes over your body. It also flashes a binary code which translates to "You are more than just an animal. Use the soul you've been given. And be responsible for your actions." as your character no longer recognizes human language and his conciousness tries to stop them from turning and failing. Specimen 11, the demon, also has a binary code. The giant eel that comes out of the vent was the old specimen 10. It was intended to be a "passive" specimen that attacked you to get you away from the area it appears for the first time. It got deleted because it was too similar to specimen 3, the centipede, in it's shape and attack pattern, but instead of being deleted it got used as a way to introduce the new specimen 10. And funnily enough, you can actually use the axe with some chasing specimens, the majora's mask rip off guy can be hit with it, good luck with that though. Merry christmas Sly
