side note i forgot to mention! I actually did not want to play miss honey instead, i was going after Mrs.Trunch but looking back on it my directors were (as always) right in casting someone else for Trunchie. i have grown to LOVE miss honey! you would be an INCREDIBLE Miss honey!!!♥♥♥

Hii!! Im new here but am LOVING your channel!! From what I’ve seen so far you would be a PERFECT ms honey!! I have been trying to commit to watching the new Matilda movie on Netflix but the first number sort of weirded me out lolll!! I am new to the theater community (doing my first musical in spring of 2022) but I am OBSESSED!! I recently actually auditioned for Chicago at my local theater and I got Mama Mortan and Harrison (we’re doing double casting) and I am so excited to start rehearsal!! Please keep us posted on the whole process of this new musical!! So excited for you!!

OMGGGG IM SO EXCITED FOR YOU ASHLEY!!!! MY THEATER DID MATILDA A FEW YEARS AGO AND IT WAS THE MOST FUN SHOW I'VE EVER BEEN IN!!! I played Miss Honey and it was the most humbling role i have played (not that i have been in many shows. in fact that was my first year actually doing theater!) I hope you enjoy the musical as much as i did!

How fun! Matilda is a great show. It is popular in my area, and I would have auditioned for it, but felt like it wouldn't work with my school schedule. Miss Honey is my favorite character to. You would make a great Miss Honey. I like your positive attitude, because I know it can be hard if you don't get a role, or don't get the role you want

Matilda is such an amazing show! I seriously can’t wait for the rehearsal vlogs. I only discovered your channel last year and I must say I love coming back and rewatching your rehearsal’s while I’m rehearsing for my show! Fun fact: the show I’m currently in is Shrek the musical! I don’t play any big lead but it is such a fun show, being in the ensemble has been a blast. We open on the 3rd next month and I’ve just loved watching your experience with the show too! Matilda is also a dream show of mine so hopefully it becomes a trend and every theatre company decides to do it. Good luck on the auditions, I’m sure you’ll do amazing no matter what role you get. Since like November ALL I can think of is theater I’m so excited for this year 🤞I get in again. this year the play my theaters doing is “the last kid in the universe” I think the writer is local cuz I can find anything about it but audition dates aren’t announced yet so idk what the roles are to audition for but I’m so nervous!
