Pro tip: you can still make cookies if you're out of eggs by substituting 2 tablespoons of applesauce OR plain cream cheese per egg. What eggs (or substitutes) do in a cookie recipe is help bind the ingredients. These substitutions do the trick with no change of texture of flavor to the cookies. Hope this helps! :)

Seriously look into the baby brezza, it’s basically a keurig for formula bottles, it can also be used just to dispense, room temp, body temp and slightly above bottle temp water. You can also pre the formula powder 😁 amazon or target sells the divider. I used to do that. My baby liked warmed water so to make my life easier, i got a bottle warmer and kept the bottle with water measured out on the bottle warmer. When she woke up i already had the formula measured out to the water. So literally i wouldn’t even get out of bed i rolled over, took the bottle out reached out for the divider and jumped one measured section into the bottle and done 😁

I live in San Antonio so I'm very close to where the shooting happened, some of the victims were sent to a hospital here and in fact I know a guy that helped design that school. My best friend works at the SA zoo and he said a group of kids from that school came to the zoo on a field trip just last week. Being this close makes me realize how few degrees of separation there are between the victims and ourselves.

Here in Michigan, the shooting at Oxford was 25 minutes away from my highschool and it was terrifying to think of it possibly hitting my school. So with cats, once they’re scared/ in fight or flight mode, direct and in blinking eye contact isn’t good. Thats basically their “I’m gonna attack rn” face, so the best thing to do would be to take away the thing thats making them angry and let them relax, and then help them release energy after they’ve calmed down by playing! That way they don’t have pent up energy and don’t resort to aggression! At least thats what I’ve learned from my cats!

Hey Colleen, just seen your video with Gus hissing and hunching/arching his back! Gus was scared and definitely didn’t notice Flynn underneath the costume! When I looked at Flynn all you see is white teeth from the dinosaur! And as little as Gus is, all he could see is some sort of giant Godzilla with huge teeth Walking past him! Gus was in defense mode and would have attacked! I have a small farm with six cats and that’s definitely cat moaning/talking letting him know to back off! It was good you said let him be and let him simmer down for a couple of minutes. That also lets you know that Gus is very protective and if Gus sees someone that he doesn’t know or don’t like he might either leave or give warning to before he attacks. I’m also sure if there was an intruder and the intruder got close enough Gus would definitely turn into wolverine. It was Gus just protecting himself. Also when Flynn took off his mask notice Gus never really stopped his cat murmuring/talking. He’s also letting everyone know that he doesn’t like that toy so just be cautious if Flynn wants to play with his dinosaur 🦖 head costume. Males cats are so different than female cats. He was also probably trying to square up to show off in front of the your other cat. Anyway I enjoyed your Vlog, as always! God Bless you and your family.

It's truly sad and terrifying, i live in Texas (lower valley area) since the tragedy there has been school districts in several Texas cities coming forward about multiple threatening calls being made. some of our high schools down here already have there own police department on campus for other reasons but it's sad to think they'll have to do the same for elementary and middle schools. Somewhere I saw there are groups of these hooligans from all over planning stuff through social media targeting schools. I just really feel for everyone with kiddos, and my prayers go out to everyone affected everywhere especially the familes.

After what happened my highschool got the second threat this year so lot's of students didn't show up to school today thankfully it hasn't happened. It's so devistating that it could happen. I love you colleen and this vlog cheered me up today I hope you and your family are safe and nothing like this ever happens to them

They have baby bottles that you can put the water in & a section that you can put the formula in that keeps it dry until you are ready to mix them. I found these bottles the best thing for night feeding since my brain didn't always function well enough to try and scoop in the middle of the night.

Even though it hasn't personally effected me i feel very connected to the shooting because i grew up less than a half hour away from there and my boyfriend still lives about 15 minutes away. My best friends dad is also part of the federal law enforcement that was sent there after the tragedy. So it just feels very close to home for me. More than other ones have

Would totally recommend you get some stackable formula containers. They made life so much easier for me. I would pre-measure the water into the bottles and the scoops of formula into containers then at bottle time just dump the container of formula into the bottle and shake. Also made going out and about very easy. Just take a couple bottles and a stack of formula containers. No need to take the whole tin.
