Yeah I got a load I regret booking from Tucson,AZ to Cedar City, UT actually. Customers were both awesome. The broker sucked and the pay sucked. It was $2/mile, but after deadheading it was probably only $1.50/mile. Took it to get my truck into a particular shop rather than deadheading about 700 miles to it. And now I’m regretting that because this shop is pushing parts on me that I don’t need and Utah is not wanting to give my business a tax exemption for being an out of state resident… Should’ve gotten it done in Idaho when I had the chance, got in in at Saint George so I could at least be home. That’s my booking regret!

@@DrivingByBraille It was Flatbed freight to Utah Iron off Comatock rd. Utah will ship out and receive a lot of Flatbed related freight, but hasn’t paid well in my few experiences.

Every load for me to Utah and Colorado is a mistake. But I’m just a company monkey and those two for stepdeck is a dead dead area lol

Don’t forget Montana. Great pay going there, nothing going out for flatbed freight 95% of the time.

Are they shipping produce out of Yuma
@fighter4christ72 ай бұрын
They pretty much always are as far as I know. All those customers were always a hastle. You’re just another body at those shippers they could really care less about your time.

@@DrivingByBraille will you ever go back to California with this new truck they would considered “compliant”? I’ve always been paid well going in and get ripped off going out. Seems pretty common across the board.
