Yumi, you can work as remote customer service. That way you can watch over your kid while working. I don't know why you are in this situation but it is clear you and your friends are not compatible when living together- and that's alright. You are very strong and I hope there'll be more clarification on why this all happens whenever you are ready. Right now you need to apply for food stamps, go to available food pantries, and learn how to drive. You must learn how to drive (or bike) so you can commute to places with better opportunities.

You are brave for speaking about whats on your mind and letting it out. I'm glad you let that out, its hard to hold in negative feelings while you feel like you dont have someone to talk to about them. I'm glad you let anybody know how you are feeling. I really hope for good news about your studio home to begin movong forward to more positive days. 💗💕 It is true family is not always there, it happens sometimes, that is not your fault. Hey Yumi, someone in the comments on your last video suggested going to a church, and I think that's a great idea. I know that it's hard as an Asian to ask for help. There is so much shame in asking when we have our pride, but there are good people out there who are willing to help. If you're not able to get government assistance ASAP, church is the next best thing, whether you're religious or not. You need to find a local community to help you, especially since you don't have your own transportation. Also, please consider online Chinese language private tutoring. You can also look into doing Chinese language transcription/subtitling work if you have a computer. Those are jobs you can do remotely. There are a lot of remote jobs that require native fluency in Chinese; the ones I mentioned have a lower bar of entry. It's just that it will take a few months or so to establish a career in those fields. If social media sponsors aren't paying enough, you need to start branching out into other career fields, because social media as a career is unsustainable, especially if you don't have financial support to help cover occasional months when you're not make enough. I don't know if you're comfortable with making video messages for fans, but you can also start a Cameo (cameo dot com) and get paid that way, too. You can set your own price for personal message videos. Other content creators have Cameos, so why not? Good luck and stay strong!

There is a saying “ what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger“ and this will make you stronger Yumi. Not everyone understands how family can abandon you or push you away- but it happens. More than people realize. It SHOULDNT happen in an ideal world but it does. I’ve gone back to my parents twice since having my 1st daughter (she’s 18 now). I had work but I needed help to make ends meet sometimes, especially while moving from one apartment to another (all the fees associated with moving add up and it’s hard not to live paycheck to paycheck especially as a single parent). Yumi, if you need items for your new home please look for a Facebook community page in your city or nearby city that gives away items for FREE. I found this recently and it has been amazing. Free clothes for my daughter, for me, free beds, couches, kitchenware, TV’s- ANYTHING you can imagine. The one I found in my city is called “Buy No Things _____ (insert my city name here)___”. There may be multiple pages like this, join them! Also join local Mom FB pages. Be honest on these pages “i need help.. I need (list items).” Even if it’s friendship you are looking for, when people say this on my Local Mom FB page other moms suggest many safe ways to meet other moms or offer for you to message with them. Whatever you are comfortable with. Just some ideas that I’ve found very helpful! I know Facebook is sort of looked at as the “old school” social media but it’s actually pretty great for things like this! Praying that you get the studio apartment. Hang in there. I’ve started over a few times at various ages and you will always come out stronger. You are a great mom and kids are quite resilient. ❤ everything will be ok. Thanks for sharing.

@@chibiusa dang...i feel like she needs to move away..like away as in another country or far from these people. Im not trying to be rude..but it seems that she's really struggling because she had pictured in her mindset that after grad - gets married - have kids - becomes a housewife. And in no means im belittling any housewives..but she seems to not have the funds to get by as she never have a life / work experience (other than being fully deependant to her ex) I do hope she'll get a breather and try to find a place to settle down

@@EosMuse I agree. Maybe she wanted a traditional life, which there's nothing wrong with if that's your thing, but it unfortunately screwed her over. This is why women must have their own money before they get married and keep saving money during marriage. You never know if the person you married will turn out to be a controlling monster and use money against you. Just the fact that she has no reliable transportation really limits her options in terms of work. NYC would be a better place for her to get around, but unfortunately, it's too expensive to live there. I seriously hope she's able to figure things out.

@@chibiusa we have the same mindset. A lot of my friends chose to be a hw after having kids (to save budget) but i told them to always have some side businesses to get by. A lot of them cook from home or sell thrifted things online which gets them some money for themselves. I really do hope yumi fights her way through this as i dont really know whats truly going on with her life/situation right now but it seems she's heavily relying on patreon

this stinks right now.... but stay focused... be like the phoenix. you are young. you are pretty... u have your whole life yet to experience... never rely on anyone... dont even let a man take care of you because he might not at first but later he will expect more from you than u should give... trapping you and your child into an unhappy place and position. By relying on yourself... u can avoid all of that and always go in the direction u want... I wish u the best in life... u seem like u have a great heart and a loving spirit behind your good looks. This is best. Be Careful and Conquer all things in your way.. and allow urself time to enjoy the world with your son. As he grows he will remind you as he discovers the world... just how mysterious and wonderful it really is. And its even better with you in it.

You are stronger than you think you can not give up on your self your son needs you there are many services available to you a single mother but not by your choice you need to sign up for food and general relief assistance programs there is no shame in asking fot help your down right now but you will rise above all this and where ever your ex-husband is you need to start the process of child support you both decided to have a baby now it is his responsibility to take care of him regardless I am sorry if I sound rude or mean but this is the time to fight for yourself stay strong and do not back down

So they kicked you and your items out but kept your son? Is he with them or did CPS take him? There are so many unanswered questions. People have donated thousands of dollars to you. Did you save any of that money for a down payment on this studio that you are trying to get? Lots of places are hiring full-time right now including McDonald’s at $16 an hour. Did you apply? I know you don’t have a vehicle but there are McDonald’s everywhere within walking distance. I’m not trying to come across as being rude but at the same time, you cannot wait for people to donate money to you. You need to do things for yourself. If your son is in CPS, I am advising you to not make videos about being in emotional distress. They could take these videos the wrong way that you are unstable mentally, and it will take longer to get your son back., I pray things work out for you and your son.

I’m weirded out by the sequence of her most recent videos, jumping from “huge shopping haul” to “I’m homeless” I hope you’re able to use your yt income for important things. And that you get some sort of assistance to provide a stable environment for your son. Being homeless and with a baby isn’t an option.

You are correct it does not add up. Child support, homeless, shelters churches… Just to name a few of the organizations that would help. There is a reason she got kicked out. We only know one side of the story. And part of that story is her getting thousands and thousands of dollars from fans.
