Hang in there. I lost my government job and had to sell my house and almost all my belongings. I probably cried myself to sleep for a week. Lost my livelihood. But I gathered myself together, picked up the pieces and marched forward. 10 years later, I have a nice house again, a government job again and very happily married for 5 years! No one assumes the worst of Yumi. We are questioning why the divorce occurred and why Splenda is not giving her alimony or child support. Looking at her divorce papers (which are public) the document says that she had a child in the marriage, but Splenda is not the biological father, thus, holds no accountability for the child. I just want to see a paternity test tbh because I don’t believe it. Due to Splenda’s past divorces, it can be suspected that he just got a really good lawyer to convince the judge that Yumi’s son is not his. However, no one can be sure of anything until there is a paternity test released. I truly hope the best for Yumi, I hope she goes back to her mom for the sake of her son and her career.

For people who act like they watch the video and say 'why do you always cry on here, get a job, you're a bad mother' and act like they aren't just being hateful, here is the CBATW: Her parents are helping her, she is working online (we're in 2022; what Karen still thinks that online work isn't real work?), and she also has an undisclosed in-person job. If you wanna continue to argue about the points that she literally addressed in the video, you are just proving your ignorance. Please save yourself the embarrassment. Learn not to comment on a video that you didn't watch as if you know everything when you have no idea what happened in the video.
@vvonderweiss2 жыл бұрын
I haven't seen anyone say she is a bad mother. We are just confused and concerned, each video seems to be more distressing than the last. Her stuff keeps getting stolen but she doesn't says "stolen" in the videos, just in the titles. What would a random thief do with a lolita dress and bright wigs? Are they targeting her things because of Halloween? What burglar would know a BTSSB dress from an adult baby costume? If where she is living is unsafe enough for her to have her child's stuff "stolen" then she cannot stay where she is for much longer either.
@suika6662 жыл бұрын
@@vvonderweiss It's easier to put 'stolen' for a video title, but she said that she doesn't know what has been done with them. I was just calling out people who are being hateful for no reason and saying awful things. I have seen people call her a bad mother, and I feel it was unnecessary for you to say that you haven't, but I don't think that you meant it in a way to call me a liar, so I'll ignore it. Technically, if someone takes her stuff without permission, whether to dispose of it or whatever, it is still stealing. And I get what you're saying about 'why would they steal lolita, cosplay, etc', but people don't check what is in a bag or package before stealing; they just steal. I recommend searching on KZbin for the American 'porch theft' videos. Some people just don't care, and will steal things, then if they realise that they don't like what is inside, they will just throw it away. It's sad, but some people just suck and have no empathy.
@vvonderweiss2 жыл бұрын
@@suika666 I was only speaking from my perspective when I said I haven't personally seen any comments saying she is a bad mother. If you've seen such comments, ok, then such comments exist and you've seen them. I am not insinuating anyone is lying. Our experiences are different. I agree that porch pirates exist and theft/property loss can occur when you are staying at someone's residence. I didn't mean to imply none of the above scenarios can't occur, just that the probability of events occurring twice in a short time span while living outside a shelter without probable cause ARE unusual. Yes, you can hear hoofsteps think horse, not zebra. If I hear a unclear narrative, I assume the speaker is being unclear, not that the events occured in a random disconnected illogical sequence. If Yumi is residing where her items she brought or her mail keeps getting stolen, then her current residence will become untenable and unsafe for her and her child. Again, please don't think I am trying to be rude or attack anyone. There are plenty of people who go through divorces, homelessness, being a single parent, and job insecurity. Yumi has chosen to share her experiences -not as an educational experience but as a vlog and for viewership/donations. If she chooses to share such experiences online, we as viewers are free to ask questions, especially since no one is clear as to how these events are occurring. It's at Yumi's discretion to disclose whatever she wants whenever she wants but naturally we are all just speculating.

well, it is quite suspicious. A single mother which has been divorced, facing financial troubles and living in a shelter is still doing videos about fashion instead of idk, going to her own parents, finding a job, being there for her child and getting her life together like every sane person in her position would? Taking the other videos and the click-bait titles into account I am slowly starting to question her "problem" and calling it bullshit, not to mention the "heartbreaking" thumbnails where she looks sad on purpose. It starts to feel like a well designed attention seeking strategy and seeing all the comments here I can surely tell she is successful with it. If it truly is what I am thinking then as a Media and Communication Expert in B2B I am quite impressed by her creativity to let her community dance to her own tune.

@@same6093 Short sighted? I don't know where that came from but this is actually my line of work so don't feed me "short sighted". Why she should quit? Let me see, her life is in turmoil and she has a kid, so instead of toying around with ad money or social media and crying around how bad her life is in front of the whole world she should do a REAL job instead of hoping to get some nice ad deals, it is called responsibility. And yes, this is not a job and moreover not a job to feed a little child and to make sure it will manage in life. I must say I find it quite amusing that I stated a neutral comment and you come up and throw me "hatefulness" against my head. You must be GenZ then because you guys love to throw buzzwords at others without using your own head first. In other words you don't know what hate is if you call me "hateful". You know what would be hateful? Saying things like " I would love to slice you open and tear out your guts and strangle you with them before burning you alive in a furnice". THAT is hate my dear Sam, not my previous comment. Get that shit right because people like you made it possible that every damn social media plattform put in this nonsense regulation about hate speech which in fact only serves as a very well disguised censorship tool against opinions which some people would love to remove since they don't favor their own perspective.

If I were the guy and KNEW that my wife cheated on me and got pregnant, I wouldn't have let her stayed with me and go thru all the birthing process etc. It would just be a waste of time, space and money. Perhaps, he wasn't there for the birth of her child? A speculation,of course. Which resulted in him not putting his name on the child's birth cert and claiming in court that the baby isnt his. Perhaps he just doesn't wanna show up at all, wants nothing to do with the baby, letting her go thru everything as a single mom. If you look at past videos, you can kinda tell how things went down, coupled with the facts of his very sketchy and douchey past actions.

Oh, eventually you have to delete these videos to move forward. People gossip and if your employer hears about anything negative it might affect your ability to advance professionally. Its time not be sad or regretful. Be brave and focused.

People make judgments and blame people for their bad circumstances. Life isn’t easy; telling a person to do x,y and z isn’t helpful.

How do we help? She is relying on our assistance through donations and sponsorships. How should we aide her in her time of need?

Can someone update me on her situation. Wasn't she married with a kid? I pray that things get better for her.

She divorced splenda (her ex husband), lost alot of money and has been living in motels. Alot of people are wondering why she isn’t moving back in with her mom and she has not addressed why. Alot of people are also wondering why she isn’t recieving child support or alimony from the divorce. If you read the official divorce document online (under her real name Zhang, Yuhan), it says that she did in fact have a child in the marriage but Splenda is not the biological father. Thats what it says on the official paper, however there is still room for discussion as no one has seen any paternity test. Now people are arguing who to believe. Splenda has always been creepy and has had 3 past divorces already. So most of the situation is unknown. Other than the fact that she keeps crying about alot of her stuff being stolen/taken away and living in motels because she is homeless. I think she mentioned being in a shelter at one point but I’m not sure. Her parents are suspected to be in Washington, so I don’t understand again, why she doesn’t move in with them.

Yall don't understand. I don't think her parents are in America and moving back would entail a long process esp for her child. It's not that simple.

Hey Yumi! I wish you and your baby well, I hope everything works out for you. ❤ Just wondering, have you maybe looked into becoming a Chinese/ English translator? I’m sure there are remote jobs for it as well.
