I'm going to turbocharge a rare Ford tractor

We recently bought a rare Ford 5600N narrow orchard tractor, I'm going to turbocharge it to 100hp and use it to chop orchard brush with an 8' flail mower. Subscribe to follow along with the project.

Oh man I recognize that engine. My boss owns a 6600 and he had me rebuild the engine and start going through it a couple years back. The amount of money hes poured into that thing is astronomical.

This giving me bad ideas. I have an airport bag tug with a 4.9 that I use to move my airplanes around. It needs a turbo.

Have a similar tractor outside but wider. Unsure of number on side though. Grandpa used it for 30++ years till he couldn't farm no more. Guess I should go start it sometime. Good memory's.

Probably a similar 5000 or 6000 series tractor. My boss owns a 6600 that uses the same engine and shares a ton of parts with this.

Hell yeah man, i love the ford tractors, i have 2, a 2000 and a 4000 with the loader and backhoe on it, and they are great machines

It wasn’t planned, I just decided to load it up behind my dually and haul it home when I was leaving the farm one night. They were calling for snow that week so I was trying to get everything hauled to its winter storage spot before the salt went down
