Basically ended up replicating this but NA and stock EFI. Going to use DSS K1-5001 -10cc pistons w rings, Promaxx bare CNC ported head with SI valves 4.810” -1.94”/1.60”, stock EFI rockers (maybe Scorpion 1.73) and an Erson E270321 (Hi-Flow AH) .504"/.504" 220/220 284/284 110deg cam shaft. Going to try and fit all of this under a stock EFI valve cover and tune it with EEC-IV. Sleeper EFI build

If we were neighbors I’d buy you beer to let me sit in front of the tailpipe for a few hours a week….! The sounds are excellent!

Does the turbo give you any pep driving the 300 I-6 unloaded, or just really to help with the added weight when you’re towing?
@tommymclelland1413 күн бұрын
What kind of mileage are you getting with and without towing?

I spent 6k doing this same setup and ported head with valve job. Also running triple weber intake 45mm carbs and clifford headers.

This video is solely responsible for a 300 swap in a ‘47 half ton. The flathead V8 is a pain in the ass, out it will come.

That truck sounds awesome, drives awesome, and tows amazing. I'm still looking to put an old IDI 7.3 diesel in my 77, but you really got me thinking about the possibility of this

I have a question, have you had any lean issues on cylinders 1 and 6 when changing spark plugs? Or a rich looking plug on the closer cylinders to the sniper EFI? I'm looking to do something like that but I have heard and read a lot of mixed things on them.
@WastedPaycheckGarageАй бұрын
I actually just changed the plugs a few weeks ago (went to a colder plug), and all 6 looked near perfect and identical to each other. The only issue I found was the heat line being all the way at the base of the grounding strap, hence the reason for going to a colder plug.

Just saw your channel on a Google ad about your truck! I have a 76 300 I6 long bed 2wd f100. It's 3 speed on the column and I eventually want to 4 speed swap with some kind of turbo setup. Will be watching your videos through! keep up the content, and Thanks for sharing!

I did the cab floors on my 79' f250 and the cab floors on my 94' f350 4 door. With that kit. Where I ran a little thin I used a flat black rattle can to touch up . Got it plenty thick Where it mattered . Over a year now and very happy.
