The 2023 WRC world rally championship has its second scoring event in Sweden with new stages in Umea, a completely snow rally. Drivers have to deal with icy, snowy and icy road conditions. The World Rally cars are now rally 1, hybrid rally cars in which we have 3 official teams. MSPORT with the Ford PUMA RALLY 1, Hyundai with the i20 RALLY 1 and the Toyota GR Yaris Rally 1. The 3 cars prepared for rally have a very similar hybrid engine that gives them more than 300hp and incredible torque. They are the evolution of the WORLD RALLY CAR. On this occasion the 2 leaders of the Monte Carlo rally were not going to be there, Sebastien Loeb and Seabstien Ogier only run some events of the 2023 WRC World Rally Championship, so on this occasion Kalle Rovanpera opened the track. We also had the return of Esepeka Lappi and Craig Breen as well as Lorenzo Bertelli.
The rally began with a special urban stage won by Kalle Rovanpera, but Tanak took the lead of the rally very early with his Ford Puma Rally 1. Although Craig Breen was winning timed stages as he closed in with his Hyundai i20 Rally 1. In the second loop of the rally Sweden, Breen took the lead and began to go full throttle. While Tanak and Lappi followed closely. The current WRC world champion Kalle Rovanpera remained 4th, as he opened the track, and in the snowy conditions, driving was very difficult.
Saturday began with many cars in accidents, with Takamoto Katsuta overturning and Esappeka Lappi leaving the track due to the delamination of his Pirelli snow tire. That left him out of the podium positions, and Hyundai driver Thierry Neuville managed to take third place in the WRC Rally SWEDEN. The last day of the rally and the last battles were fought on the prepared power stage of an urban spectacle section in Umea. Elfyn Evans and Lappi went out with everything to look for points for the championship, while the Hyundai WRC team forced Craig Breen to accept team orders to let Neuville move up to 2nd position and thus have more room to fight for the championship. Even so, Neuville had an off-track in the power stage, causing him to return to 3rd position and leaving Craig Breen in second place.
Ott Tänak takes victory in a close Rally Sweden with a fight to the end with Craig Breen. Despite Hyundai's efforts and his team's orders for Thierry Neuville to win, he finished third on the podium of the Sweden rally.
Among the Spaniards and Latins, we had Marco Bulacia, Bruno Bulacia, Fabricio Zaldivar, Alex Villanueva, Miguel Diaz Aboitiz, Daniel Alonso and in Junior WRC Diego Domiguez, Raul Hernandez and Roberto Blach Jr. completes his debut at the Rally Sweden.

me encantaría ver ese video hablando del wrc y el futuro que puede tener, yo por ejemplo también creo que esta un poco caído con tas pocas marcas y muy poca accesibilidad a ver los rallys o muy poca repercusión de las mismas retransmisiones, solo en RTVE suben los resúmenes de cada rally pero apenas media hora de resumen pero es gratis. Enhorabuena por estos videos, ya se que el resto van a seguir siendo increíbles.
