A bit ironic, calling out the weirdness of celebrity idolization, but also, in a sense, participating in it by conflating celebrity with actor. Just pick a non-actor celebrity? Go have dinner with Bill Nye. Play chess with David Attenbborough. Sports celebrities, famous authors, artists, musicians. But yes, it does seem weird to put actors on a pedestal when there's an entire film crew behind them for every role. Like, sure, they "brought the character to life" or whatever, but they still needed the writers actually creating the characters, makeup, wardrobe, etc all contributing to that character.
