I do think Kellin Quinn’s version fits more for the game compared to the original considering how underplayed the stakes were.

Late to the party, and no hate to Kellin, but the reason why I enjoy Merry's vocals more is because Kellin's feel too... uniform, if that makes sense. Merry's vocals fluctuate, sometimes he sounds like he's whispering, then he sounds like he's shouting full power, and the vibrato in his voice sounds like it's present more, which all coincides with the lyrics he's singing at that moment and really adds to the auditory variety of his voice. Kellin's voice sounds too flat and carries the same volume and low-energy through most of the song (barring the screamo accompaniments in the song), plus the filter makes it sound more artificial. Merry's "I'm Here" is a loud, powerful declaration.

This is my definitive version of I'm Here. All the others Merry Kirk Holmes mashup always removes the "THEIR MELODIEEEEESSSSS" part and that always bugged me, I'm Here just doesn't sound correct without that part

I think it's because most of the instrumentals were already in the original song, so the only differences between the revisited version and the original are the solos, the bridge to the second verse, and the vocals. That's really it.
