Sonic used his big brain and decided to use the full potential of his cyber corruption(and the Chaos emeralds)despite the pain he feels from it sometimes. The level of innovation and sharpness and heart makes this the greatest fictional character as of this point in time. Helping that little girl in the wheelchair go see something as simple as a Flowers garden while foregoing the abruptly meeting of the president. Even doing thing's not so heroic in others eyes like slaying King Arthur(fake) He isn't melodramatic or dramatic like some cliche anime(no offense) While still being humorous. Despite his differences in his personality compared to his friends like Kunckles, he listens and cheers him up. He doesn't even discriminate when he talks to "villains." Like Wreck It Ralph or In the story book games. "The best I can!" Indeed you're the best.
