Not going to lie, I havent paid attention to porter or the scene much over the years but this just hit me super deep unexpectedly. Just turned 31, visiting mom since she's been in the hospital and I have suffered from depression since I lost my father to suicide. All that, mixed with drugs, relationships and law trouble put me out a few years ago after raving my balls off since I was 17, seeing porter was part of my wildly dark and oddly illuminating journey... I missed the scene so much after healing...the dancing, art, music, love and exploration of expression. I've found my way back and that's exactly how DDR felt for me, that's where this really started, 12 years old and hours and hours on a slippery, sweaty dance mat. That's what I imagine porter feels on a super Saiyan level right now and that is so fucking cool. Congratulations PR, you might not read this but thanks for this video and thanks for staying creative 🙏

I loved ddr so much as a kid, I was never really good with my feet so I only did easy mode. It also made me love electronic music and Japanese style songs. Of course now my song pallette is more refined but looking back on the memories and my dusty copies on my shelf, they were happy ones. I am so glad your songs have made it.
