Great advice you guys! I would maybe add (take it or leave it) that after a divorce, and with a teen child, as well as looking to date again=all transitional and life changing head spaces. Most people change throughout their lives, as a couple we hopefully compliment and support the changes. That being said, I know for me post divorce, I had no idea who I was as an individual. Maybe take time to figure out who you are. What did you stop doing when you became married, or had kids? Are there things you always wanted to do, but put off or disregarded? What are your hobbies? Make yourself step out of comfort zones. Try new things, maybe once a month. Check your community activities, visit parks, restaurants, sports in your area that you’ve not done before. You can include your teen; quality time is valuable! Take the time to remember who you were and who you are now. It’s worth it to bring a whole person into your next relationships.💖
