Flavor hack (especially for pasta stuff)- adding the oils that come with sun dried tomatoes or artichoke helps bring everything together 🧡 so yummy

to avoid the noodles to get all stucked together, after you strain them add a couple of tablespoon of oil (olive oil is best obvi but work with what you have) and give a nice toss!

emily! I’ve been making a pesto pasta salad for lunch this week using the classic tj’s vegan pesto, chickpeas, lemon juice, garlic, arugula, and the vegan feta! sooo good and i like to add a lil pasta water to coat the pasta. also, the dollar tree sells microgreen seeds that grow in about a week that are great for topping salads! would love more budget videos :)

I have not the best relationship with food (lots of emotional eating yeehaw) and after some googling found a book called Food: The Good Girl's Drug which has a big part about how important it is to take guilt out of the equation with regards to certain foods/eating in general. beating yourself up over eating choices doesn't help, just like how it doesn't help in the rest of life either!! good book highly recommend

I've been subscribed to your channel for a while now, & I watch all your videos, but I don't think I've ever left a comment. So basically I just want to let you know I find your videos very cozy, calming, & relatable. You cook like a "real" person- using what you have & measuring by eye. Love it! 💕

So i havent been working since February. In that time i got married and am moving into a new home with my husband. Needless to say i am beyond broke these days. Ive found that oats have been a lifesaver. Specifically savory oats. I use them like one would rice or pasta or whatever carb if that makes sense. I cook the oats normally with just a bit of salt and top it with whatever i have and season with whatever i want. My fave as of late is pouring veggie curry over it. I can make milk out of oats which then i can use in recipes.. blend it up into flour for any baking needs... granola... energy balls... can even use it to ease skin irritation. Its hella cheap, full of fiber and other good stuff.

From what I've gathered, nigari is magnesium chloride, so that would make the tofu that's made with it high in magnesium, while most other tofus are coagulated with calcium, making them a good source of calcium

tbh when brands/branding goes down the diet-culture route with talking about 'guilt-free' and 'supporting weight loss' and being 'GOOD 4U UNLIKE THE OTHER BAD FOODS,' it's just such a massive turn-off for me nowadays. i'd honestly rather find another brand (if possible) of whatever it is than buy from a brand that capitalizes off of toxic, softcore ED-esque ideations that, frankly i feel like, haunt everyone to some degree, whether they realize it or not, because it's everywhere.
@Amatory0 Жыл бұрын
instead of diet culture-y labels, all labels should be more like the garlic label, lmao. what guilt?? only pic.

I have reactive hypoglycemia now which is v fun and cool and hard to find vegan recipes for that don't primarily consist of things that aggravate other conditions I have but the hardest part is literally everythinggg being like "sugar is an Evil Addictive Drug" and all the guilt messaging around food. And everything being "lowcal!" "you can eat as much of this as you want w/o gaining weight!" and so on like leave me aloneee I'm just trying to eat!!!! 🙃
