To be honest, you dont need all that security in Lagos. Its an over kill. There are 10s of thousands of European expatriates living in Lagos that go around free without any issue. Lagos is definitely safer than New York or Chicago where people get shot every day. Most of the people who talk this lack of safety in Lagos have never been to Africa before. There are Europeans in the plane loads coming here to invest and live.

As well not to offend anyone but I'm getting poor man syndrome vibes from him with all the notes of "rich, 5 star, first class" and it's really not that hard to get a nigerian security compared to abroad like America. The distaste must always be on our tongue. That will compel us to change the status-quo. Nothing is alright with Nigeria.

I am a full-fledged Nigerian, I can proudly say that anywhere. I just watched it and it felt like you were talking about a completely different country. It's good to know that you had FUN in Lagos, but my dear country is not as dangerous as you make it out to be. The dangers of Lagos are nothing compared to those of NY, where people are shot every day in the streets. Lagos is just a busy place where everyone goes about their business. If you want to do an article about anywhere in Nigeria, do it right. I bet security in America won't be able to protect you if you're wanted by bad guys in the United States. Good luck

I'm not gonna lie... at first I felt like: oh fuck I love this dude just for coming to Nigeria out of a sudden, who is he! Now, I feel so so embarrassed watching this and I do not blame him. I feel so shamed but I'll use this experience to remind myself why I want to become president of this country someday. Thanks for coming anyways.

Carl is a great thing you came to Nigeria have been fallowing you for well over a year now here on KZbin. I was most impressed hearing your coming to my country, of course I know about the not so good reputation of my country, but they are way too over exaggerated. You can put on the expensive watches here without being harassed or attacked and stolen from you like in Europe, you can go about with your own personal security aid too

I'm your biggest fan Carl..!! When you came to Nigeria, I was so happy to see ya, I traveled all the way from another state to see you in Lagos state. After the conference I wanted to take a picture with you and one of the security hits me so hard that I fell on the floor. 😔😥 I believe I will meet you in future one day.

Loved this visit but I think the security measures were an over kill especially at the conference center. Nigeria is a great country irrespective of the bad leadership. This will change soon.

Let's remember he was visiting. the security came from the locals....can't blame him for taking the advice given to him...Nigeria may not be that bad but sometimes people lie to make money from others...Am not Nigerian but I loved watching it...Africa is Africa and we are happy people. Remember you can't change how the others think of Africa....Lets be proud and ignore the negative noise....

Carl thanks for visiting Nigeria. Nigeria is a great place, apart from the bad leadership, all those security stuff was unnecessary, Lagos is very safe, many foreigners leave here in Lagos and go about there various business with out any security personnel following them. Please when next you are coming to Nigeria let me know, I would love to meet with you in person, thanks 👍.
