Thank you so much! I love Barney Kessel, he's one of my favorites, and that album has some amazing guitar playing. But he's hard for me to imitate as a very beginner student of jazz, his motion is sophisticated and subtle, and because he compliments the bassist well, he stays on his higher strings, and I usually need to be able to at least envision my roots on the first two top strings. But thanks to your lessons Sandra, I'm coming along and improving. Thank you so much! God bless from Texas.

I hear a lot of Wes influence in your harmonic approach here, am I wrong? I am talking about his Verve period. Absolutely wonderful!
@GuitarversumSandraSherman3 жыл бұрын
Well, I'm strongly influenced by Wes. Maybe that is reflected in my arrangements.

Hello Sandra, I remembered a song that the legendary Chet Atkins had done back in 1975, which is called, stars and stripes forever, it is a very nice song, it would be too much to ask you to do this tutorial ???? I would love for you to do it when you can, although I already know that you are with a lot of work, I will thank you if you can upload it, very grateful, greetings!

I enjoy your lessons and learn a lot from them. Would you consider doing a lesson on The Nearness of You? I trust you to do an accurate and easy to understand lesson for this song. Could be chord melody, or just chords. Thanks for all you do!
