I'm Learning To 3 Cat Spam With The 3CatSpam Set.. (Pixel Gun 3D)

What I recommend is to practice 3 category spam in Arena mode. As one of the first OG 3 cat spammers, after learning from Esoteric, I will tell you my experience. What you first need to get used to, is switching from sniper to special and finally to backup. Try doing it slow when you first start and try not to use primary or heavy. Focus on the order. But while doing that, practice finger positioning. You need to get used to which finger goes to which category which is very important as you mess up and click the wrong one or being late and clicking slowly which would result in a easier death. My finger positioning, for me I always use my left hand's thumb to switch category's, starting from sniper to special to backup. I never use any other finger to do it. If you want to try out my method, also try and rotate the screen and get used to your thumb switching to categories while rotating your screen and moving. For the fire button, I use my right hand's thumb to fire and move. Many youtubers tell you to use your index finger or something, but as a OG 3 cat spammer, I didn't know any of that so I used the most basic fingering, which is only using my thumbs to fire, move, scope in, and switch categories. The last thing you need to know is input, output and delays. To sum it up, here are the steps. 1. Go to Arena mode and choose you favourite backup, sniper and special. 2. Practice switching from sniper to special to backup without shooting monsters at first, what I recommend is going to nuke town and shooting the windows on the buildings, after that go to Arena and shoot monsters as they move which makes it more challenging. * try not to use primary or heavy. 3. Find out which finger positioning is most suitable for you. If you want to use my positioning than your more than welcome. 4. Once you found out which finger positioning is most suitable for you, go back to Arena mode and practice at least 5 or 10 times and try not to miss a monster and focus on your finger positioning. After that training, go to Multiplayer mode and try shooting real players. 5. The last step is knowing input, output and delays. If you don't know any delays, it could mess up your gameplay. For example, you use a backup that has both delay like gift revolvers and you switch from sniper to that. It won't work as you need to take out the weapon which takes time and by that time, the enemy you are aiming at would kill you. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fixed delay, Only Input/Output delay, both delay and non-delay. First, start from fixed delay. •Fixed delay is like the weapon pull out animation was late. It have short and long period of fixed delay. It was hard to switch at catspam. For example: Dislike(Short) and Storm(Long) •Input delay is when you shoot an output delay weapon and suddenly changed to an input delay weapon. It will cause the pulling out animation longer. For example: Sniper Dude(Input but no output) •Output delay is when you shoot an input delay weapon and changed to output delay. It will caused pulling out animation longer, for example: Portalium rifle( No input but output) •Both delay: the weapon that have input and output delay such as Prototype. •Non-delay: a weapon that no input and output delay like poison darts and Necklace of the ice king. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I really hope this helps you Ecko, and other players. Usually you go sniper, special to backup and repeat. Heavy and primary are more as finishers, it’s because you get the most damage and speed from using the first three if done correctly

4:18 actually that was the friendly fire glitch or bug that devs haven't fix yet because look at the head. It got a red skull sign but blue shadeline. It will affect the game score points and get killed by teammate and it will turned to be enemy points.

Yeah in one Ant's life server when I was doing challenges, everyone there could kill me and it was team fight. I felt like the enemy team was more friendly than my own since they didn't care about my existence then but my teammates just kept shooting at me even tho 3 enemies were surrounding them =/

Usually, people go sniper, special, backup, repeat. Periodically, people go heavy to primary after a rotation. This is mostly used to finish someone off. After a kill, switch to melee for mobility. Other things to learn are weapon output and input delays along with good movement

First thing to note is ALL the delays there is fixed delay (the pull out delay) and input and output delays like ultimatum has both thats why if you switch to a input delay weapon it gains a sort of fixed delay or if you use a output delay and switch to ulti it gains fixed delay and generally you want to avoid these kinds of weapons unless you have a weapon for your 3 cat loadout that does not have any of the delays like poison darts and then your input and output delays weapon with a 3 cat loadout like heavy sniper and special there is a general rule that is almost always followed start with one side for example start with heavy then sniper then special or the other way around if you do normal 3 cat with sniper special and backup you would start with sniper special and then backup two good loadout for normal 3 cat would be, almost any sniper, then necklace of the ice king then thunderer an alternative is, almost any sniper, poison darts, and then thunderer, and you can use sparkling horn or exterminator instead of thunderer i prefer the sparkling horn and i would do a normal 3 cat and then switch to my shotgun and finish them with it if they didn’t die at first you can use a heavy i generally would not as there are not many good heavys for it as they have to much travel time the bullets but at close rang heavys are ok you could also watch a how to 3 cat spam video thats one of the main ways i learned my story of how i started to 3 cat is funny as i hated 3 cat and then i tried it and liked it i hope you found my instructions helpful.

so ecko there are delay mechanics that allow some weapons to have delay, and others don't. E.g. using laser cat rifle. It has OUTPUT DELAY, which gives other weapons delay, BUT it doesn't have INPUT DELAY, which receives delay from other OUTPUT DELAY WEAPONS, an example of that is the sparkling horn. Therefore, you can spam from an OUTPUT DELAY weapon (laser cat rifle) to a NO DELAY weapon (poison darts) to an INPUT and OUTPUT DELAY weapon (sparkling horn), and repeat.

The reason most 3 cat spammers go sniper special backup is because 3 cat spam backups such as notik and poison darts have no delay

8:02 I tried out 3CS (3CatSpamming) at the very beginning of this year and in my first match after 3 training lessons I got from my clan leader (thank you JC) I managed to get my very first Rampage! I got excited about it but in the PG Community season update, aiming help was reworked and now when someone jumps on my screen infront of me, my camera angle go brrr. So I had to turn it off and found out that I was better without it. But then Shotguns got reworked and I decided to be honest to myself and quit 3CS. So back to your question Ecko: What I think the reason is, is that back up take more skill and have mostly laser type weapons wich are good for 3CS. The 3CS community hates heavy spammers so they don't wanna rely on them except for rocket jumping. But there are some people that 3CS and use cancer weapons, bc it's sadly the method in PG3D rn. Why do we do sniper back up special was because of the bullet travel speed and the damages we don't do sniper backup heavy is mostly heavy cant instant kill and the bullet doesn't travel fast enough and we normally use it to rocket jump so we need the heavy to rocket jump instead of damage
