I feel like there's an attempt at a sort of Nordic minimalism but it doesn't go far enough into being an aesthetic. I kind of miss the sense of futurism that makes rich people's houses look expensive even if they do look like display houses ready for a showing rather than lived in spaces.

I'd have a Beatles themed bathroom, a conversation pit in the living room (1960s style lmao) I'd have a pastel rainbow playroom (if I had kids lol) covered in posters and it'd have blackboard paint for the first 4 ft at the bottom of the walls so they could draw all over them. Most of my furniture would probably be modern-memphis design (Google it - it's the decor style of the living parents in Beetlejuice and I adore it even tho I know it's tacky as hell 😅) I'd have like a whole ass library like in beauty and the beast with rolling ladders etc. There's no earthly reason to have enough money to own a fuckin island and have a pure white house full of white bland colour coordinated 'neutral' furniture like I'd wake up and think I was in a mental institute 🤨

It could be a basement level or the windows just weren’t shown. The lack of windows would be depressing, I think, but no windows means it’s safer. No one can snatch the kids. I heard a lot of people have their safe rooms or mustering stations in or near play rooms to make it easier for the kids to go somewhere they feel safe, so it’s less likely they’ll stay in their rooms and need to be collected in case of an emergency. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Just speculating.

Just for the record, because this is an admittedly specific pet peeve of mine: organizing Legos by colour is the WORST way to organize Legos. Your Legos should be organized by shape and number of nubs, and then specialty pieces. It's way easier to find a red 2x4 in a bucket of rainbow 2x4s than it is to find a red 2x4 in a bucket of RANDOM RED PIECES.

That hallway... even just seeing it freaks me out. Having something so large, and stark white with no soft features... it just looks so depressing. Those children are incredibly blessed to be born in to such wealth but imagine that being the house you grew up in. I’m someone whose mood is dictated by how comfortable I am in my environment, so for me its inconceivable that anyone would want to live in something that looks so haunted and empty. The outside of their home with all the trees, bushes and pool is so beautiful and fresh and alive, but the inside literally reminds me of death.
