The Faces WOW ! . Thanks a lot for this. Love them 👍🏆🇬🇧. One of my favourites, Around the plynth

Two days ago I just happened to have watched the Faces doing this on you tube. Ronnie was sharp and impressive. Tight little fills were right on the money. And he was out front -- no place to hide in the mix. Brilliant

Every Picture Tells A Story. Back when Ronnie Wood was playing really nice guitar and had his own sound before he joined the Stones. Nice Lesson!!!

Good to see you back . Ronnie was a hell of a guitar player in the faces. He lost something where he joined the stones.
@frommetoyou44013 жыл бұрын
5/24/2021 @green323turbo I share your opinion. Though, not sure if he "lost something" when he joined The Stones, it's just that he was the "main man" in The Faces with his style that supported and worked well with Rod's vocals. In short, I liked his playing much better when he was with Rod & The Faces, also when he was bassist with The Jeff Beck Group.

@@frommetoyou4401 it's really hard to get somebody to mesh with Keef. Mick Taylor is amazing and kinda same thing when he joined the Stones
@stephenzanichkowsky4434 Жыл бұрын
@@frommetoyou4401 Also, in my opinion, the Stones started writing less interesting music after a few years without Taylor. Not saying Taylor was a cause, it's just that Jagger was running out of stuff to say.

Another Great Lesson James : Any Chance you could do a Lesson for = Know body Knows from The Faces first step album no one has done a real lesson on it on KZbin 👍🏻would be great if you could 🌞👍🏻❤️⭐️
@alraymond16184 жыл бұрын
I think he tunes the low E down to a D, making it easier to get that intro down. Plus it helps the open D ring nicely.
@jamesjames92754 жыл бұрын
Hmm. That would make the thumb-over-the-top a lot more complicated for the main riff. I’ll have to experiment with that.

James, I'm not familiar with the Faces. What would u say the background is on this song? Is it riffing on the blues? That first chord to me is like a funk chord. But I'm a begginer, not an expert
