Hughie is. Hughie is exceptionally good for Annie's soul. Without Hughie there to listen to Annie, she might have let herself slip into a really dark and depressing emotional pit and never be herself. Hughie is even good for Billy Butcher's soul. He makes Butcher laugh more than probably even HE would have thought. So I'd say that there IS at least THAT one thing that is good for the soul.

You are exactly right. People not only have the right to believe what they want to believe, as you said, but they DO believe what they want to believe, no matter how much it bothers certain types out there. For the overwhelming majority of people, the only reason they believe in whatever ancient superstitions they're into is because they were conditioned to believe it in their childhood. Had they grown up in some other place and time, they'd simply believe in something else. And the people trying to make their superstitions into laws, especially in a "free country" are really the worst of all.

Actually - in my personal experience - revenge and lashing out anger IS the best way to move passed shit. Talking helps to the sum of ZERO. Because once it's done; it's done. talking only KEEPS a trauma close because some dumbass psychiatrist thinks THEY - a person who didn't go through what you did - knows better than YOU do, so the keep persisting that you talk about it and when you TRY to move on and get passed it they just bring it up again. Psychiatry is all about poking the bear and conditioning that bear to remain submissive. If the bear gets angry at being poked then just drug them into a near catatonic state until they are utterly submissive. Can you tell that I HATE psychiatrists?? LOL.

14:24 - "Rain Man. I don't know what Rain Man is." - It's a 1988 movie starring Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman. They're brothers and Hoffman pays an autistic man who can't function in the real world, but who is excellent at certain things, like counting. When their father dies, Cruise basically kidnaps Hoffman, hoping to get a bigger inheritance. It's kind of a road trip movie. 15:24 - "This is a little much. He's acting like he is the chosen one." - Take away the costume and the flying, add about 30 years to his age, slap on some orange makeup, and you wouldn't be able to tell this scene apart from an actual Trump rally. Trump has even said that he is the chosen one. 47:32 - "Why is he immune to everything?" - Because he's indestructible and can level an entire city without breaking a sweat. How do you prosecute someone like that?

Rain Man: is a 1988 film starring Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman. Hoffman plays a character called Ray who is diagnosed as an autistic savant. So imagine if you had a 4 Litre jar filled with jelly beans and it falls and smashes onto the floor; a character such as Ray can not only (just at a cursory glance) tell you the total number of beans, but the exact number of each color. There are many different types of savants with differing areas of hyper accelerated awareness. So when someone references Rain Man they mean the person is Stephen Hawking/albert Einstein level brilliant. Without even applying any effort. I think you might enjoy Rain Man for a reaction. Why not give it a shot??

The Deep is an idiot, which means he can care about protecting sea life while driving a Hummer. And I feel like everyone who watches this immediately begins rooting for Hughie and Annie because they are so likeable together. I dunno, maybe you're too in your own head or something. This show is fantastic not because of superheroes or violence or comedy. It's so great because it's so well written.

@bastiwen 7 ай бұрын
@@princeproductions8599 I'll give you a serious answer but I'm just talking for me, not for Vkunia. For your first question, I don't have anything against god since I don't believe in the existence of a god or gods. Regarding your second question, there's nothing wrong with that, but what's happening in this episode of The Boys (and what also happens in real life unfortunately) is more than people just gathering to support what they believe in. It's people thinking they are better than others because of their religion, it's people indoctrinating and "correcting" how children think instead of teaching them to think critically and form their own opinions, it's people trying to impose their morals onto others as if it was the law, it's people trying to "save" others who don't share the same beliefs, it's people who claim to preach love when they only spread intolerence. I don't care about a person's religious beliefs as long as it doesn't become a harmful thing. Now, of course I wouldn't go full Butcher either, especially in a gathering of the sort haha, that's too much

I never even noticed the Ezekiel action figures before now. Or caught the implications of the Deep driving a Humvee. Good catches.

The horrible thing about Homelander's childhood is not just that he grow up completely without a family/friends/love, the doctor's also tortured and abused him to see how strong he is. They even had other Supes coming in his room and beat him up. All that until he was 18 years old.
