Include Hudson more ( if him & his mom are comfortable with that ) taking him fishing/camping in the offroader, maybe the occasional canyon rip, teach us how to shoot and edit a video, finding the new apartment. I am pretty confident that the majority of your viewership that followed you here would agree and are here for you and will watch whatever you bring us on whatever schedule and be stoked for it.

@@williamholder7174 Agreed wtih both above. It's obvious you're amazing at editing but might be struggling at the creative portion of your own channel content. A lifestyle vlog type channel based somewhat around cars would be amazing, and it doesnt have to be your own car. Maybe even a BTS style vlog with your friends and their cars (with their permission). You're good at editing and story telling this route may be best, where you also dont have to financially "up your game" to keep relevant. Like they said, we like your personality, not your lifestyle.

I say remove anything and everything that gives you more peace of mind and less stress and still provides a level of fun that keeps videos coming. As a single father I feel terrible right now having to daily my 3 kids in a 911. My truck was hit on Xmas by a uninsured living in his car. I have used the insurance for a rental but used all my coverage limit. Car is still 1-2 weeks out. For me, the kids and future are most important. I have the 911 for sale in order to help my 14yr old get ready to buy his first car. I won’t regret it one bit. The kids are my everything. My reason for living, the only joy in my life.

LX is a solid move.... as a guy running my business for six years and with 3 kids from 7 - 7 months. I'd rather ensure that my kids can enjoy the things I enjoy. As a Dad I totally get it, I got in my loud exhaust summer car the other day and realized damn I'm old and this is too loud, and immediately bought another muffler. My thought being if my kids want to ride in the car I don't want them to deal with loud exhaust notes or hurt their hearing. I also have owned 3 4Runners and love the platform and have always been a sucker for the GX's so I can tell you that it's a great DD especially for hauling kids. Do what makes you happy Luke, the rest will fall into place.

I have an 07 470 and it’s great for offroading. Make sure you check the frame and make sure it hasn’t had cooling issues on the carfax or Lexus site maintenance records.

As a GX460 owner about to launch into modding it I heartily vote for a 460 (or470). It’s a great car and there is such great aftermarket support. You can have a nice, solid, safe care that you can also have a lot of fun with. They are supposed to last forever and I’m looking forward to having mine forever. If you straight pipe it, it’ll sound as good as the AMG!😂

You gotta do what makes you happy. No matter what that is. As far as the AMG goes, you're still plenty young. Moving on from that now to put yourself in a better financial position while reacquainting yourself with what makes you happy is never the wrong choice. You can always get back into something like that in the future; when Hudson's old enough that it isn't stressing you out to have him in the front seat of a two-seater.

focus on your life. seeing the journey and showing the changes and being real is what I look for. you can do car content without owning a car. From spotting, to test drives, to friends etc. once you get that traction do what you want. Doing some off road stuff (car, side by side, dirt bike, snow mobile) is always welcomed especially in Utah. you can go through how selling an exotic car really is like. but just keep true to you and everything will work out. I like the Lexus 470. I looked into those and ended up with a Yukon. I love the truck and the kids enjoy it. I would sell the Mercedes if you are not really driving it. Have less stress and enjoy making videos. Automotive KZbin is hard, so change it up and film what you enjoy.

You’ll have better peace of mind if you are set financially. You seem like a smart guy, and I’m sure that in time you’ll be able to comfortably afford a GX as well as some fun project car, like a mini or something else fun, idk lol. But I would recommend, as a finance major, finding a more affordable apartment, getting a better suited car for being a father, and then work your butt off to get something else fun. get the gx470, i have a 2008 and you can install a VLINE2 so you can get carplay on the OEM screen. ive off roaded, tailgated, and daily drive it and its pretty reliable. also having the 3rd row to haul friends and family around has been great. 242k miles and still going strong, even with similar mods as the one in your video

I was excited to meet you last year In sunvalley and that’s because i liked watching the content you offered with your personality. You’re doing everything right I promise. I went through the struggle too. Constantly questioning what’s right/wrong. I had to move houses. I sold my 5.0 mustang, super moto, and street bike because I couldn’t justify that life making sense. So I bought TRD off-road Tacoma and love the 4 doors and mobility it offers. I didn’t want to give up the car/street life. But I’ve been way happier with a vehicle that makes sense and can take me anywhere I want to go with back seats I can actually bring friends or my dog in.

My two cents: as a dad, I get it. Protect your child. My wife and I got a 4 runner when the kiddos came along for the exact same reason. The other thing…I think it’s hard to differentiate yourself from all the car channels out there. But I also think people like you. You seem like a nice guy without a big ego. Great to see you! You do what does your heart good and sets your mind at ease, brother. Speaking as a godfather to a 7 year old and someone who has a tuned BMW, I understand and I do feel like a better person putting a kid in my wife's SUV than in my car. If you can get the same amount of joy out of the SUV and feel better about putting Hudson in there, then its a no-brainer. As far as content, what I enjoy the most is the style and just who you are.
