Wooow the 5 year recap hit me like a truck…. I Followed you like 7 years ago because I loved your beach house vlogs. But as the content changed I thought it wouldn’t be as interesting to me anymore. Boy was I wrong. Your content is still so inspiring and the crazy thing is as you said “we’re growing up together” I felt that so much. I can relate so much, moving from France to Canada in 2014. Having my first place by myself really helped me feeling home in Toronto, then meeting my bf because it felt like having family here. I help a lot of newcomers and I always tell them: enjoy the change, its a time you'll feel scared and free at the same time. Remember how you are feeling now because it's such a special feeling to be able to move somewhere new and become whoever you want to be.

I got news for you, sometimes the big life transitions never stop. I left NYC 12 years ago thinking I'd never returned. I started a new chapter in California only to find myself yet again and way older than you, back on the east coast trying to get resettled in or near NYC. Even at my age, I didn't see this change coming, but it feels right for now, another big life transition. Good luck with yours in one of the best cities in the world.

Your friend and my favorite KZbinr Nathaniel Drew had a quote in a video about two years ago… “We need space to create and imagine, and life needs space to surprise us with its beauty” I’m moving soon too from the city I’ve known my whole childhood and young adulthood (Atlanta, GA and I’m 22 now). I’ll be moving to DC for a bit and maybe after that…abroad to Europe as well. You were the reason I applied to SDSU, because you inspired me to live that cali life haha. (I didn't end up going LOLOL but trust me it was a big decision) One of the biggest dreams I've had was to live in nyc and it is my goal right now.
