I love your videos and I love how you don't gatekeep your favorite spots in nyc! I just wanted to warn you though: I hear a lot of stories of youtubers or content creators either a) showing views from their apartment windows or b) talking about places they go a lot close to their house; this is the kind of information that people with not-so-great intentions could use to their advantage. please please stay safe queen!

Hey girl, I really related to the part when you talked about wanting a community. I feel like it’s so hard to find one especially in these days, everyone seems to be doing their own thing but having people support you would make everything so much nicer. i think you're doing the right thing - never seen a video of yours, not even subscribed. but, nyc is an incredible city and i think the best time to move there is when you have no responsibility, nothing holding you back, and an open road ahead. try it for at least 1.5-2 years before deciding to leave. keep it up, i think you're gonna thrive!

Ahh good luck! I moved to LA from NYC earlier this year too for postgrad. If you’re interested in volunteering definitely recommend checking out Send Chinatown Love and Welcome to Chinatown to find community, they host a bunch of social events (running/supper clubs) and volunteering stuff (food drives etc)

girlll you are gorgeous and i love your sence of style!! i also wanted to say i undestand what you mean about new yourk not being that much eventually but in my opinion even if you get used living there you will genuinely enjoy living in this city without always realizing but you'll know because it wont make you feel depressive. Also the thing about friendgroups i understant what you mean because i went through it too and i kind of still do but i do wanna believe that these things come when you least expect it

i live in Astoria. Astoria is easier and less expensive to rent an apartment. come to Astoria !

Hey I live in Vienna (a big city) and I never had a friend group or like close friends that live near me and it’s so devastating. I recently am in a relationship for the very first time and it’s so unhealthy but I hate being apart from my bf, he lives 2h away tho and has work during the week. And I hate being alone. I don’t know why I was such an independent girl and now 😭 it’s so sad. And I really wish I had more friends like him that I could do things with so that I’m not so alone. It’s so hard. I’m so depressed. More than ever when I was single it was normal Being alone but now it’s not. I don’t like it.

When I talk or text with my few friends it’s always about my boyfriend. I know it annoyes them, it’s annoying to me too. I feel like I’m not really living idk. And I rarely go on dates with my bf most of the time we don’t do nothing but it’s fine. I wish it where different tho I really hope it will change. We fought a lot the past few weeks or months and just now we are regenerating. It’s so hard. That boy has so much unresolved trauma and is always hiding in his shell and not talking about his problems 💀
